am hoping to open a doggie spa in the next couple of years. so look out for "Paw Spa". that is supposed to be a secret name so don't tell hehe
oh, and next door to the "Paw Spa" will be the "Ma Spa" where the pet owners can get pampered too. I suppose we will let non-pet owners in too I am so excited about this...but it is a couple years out still.

I think this is an EXCELLENT Idea.. I have been thinking about that same type of thing, but to me its just one of those thoughts. I see how much my boss goes through owning a company and I just dont think i want to do that much work

As for me.. Im a professional dog groomer (i groom a few YT yorkies ), I show yorkies (really want to be a professional dog handler some day, I want to be one of those ones that you see on TV and EVERYONE recognizes ). Im a member of the Delaware Valley Yorkshire Terrier Club, I do animal assisted therapy, been slacking off the past few weeks though, but today I had a really good excuse not to go, while trying to cut the nails on a 90 or so pound lab mix he kicked me and I went flying across the room (well a little exaggeration lol) and now Im sore tonight. I feel like I got beat up. I think you can tell he didnt like his nails done and guess what he did win, he didnt get his nails cut today. I wish dogs understood that Im not trying to do anything mean to them, Im just trying to make life easier for them by cutting those long nails.
Im also a firefighter for the NJ state forest fire service.
I have 4 yorkies, a chihuahua, a german shepherd and a cat. These are my children. I am engaged, we still havent set a wedding date.

I used to be in the hotel business until my boyfriend was injured three years ago, now I stay home to help him and get to snuggle all day with my yorkie. . . soon to be two yorkies, we're working on dad heehee

I work part-time for two different anesthesia offices doing billing. For one of them, I just go there for about 10 hours a week, the other I get to do from home! I think I have the best jobs ever, I get to choose my own hours at the one away from home, and the one I do at home...well, I guess I choose those hours too , plus I am home with Cooper and Carley. When I just had Cooper, I was taking him to the one anesthesia office, but he barked too much, so he couldn't go anymore I also do all the housewife stuff, but my boys are both off at college now in other states, so that stuff is now minimal, with just my husband and myself. I got it GGOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD!!!

What a versatile group we are!!! Gee, I am gonna sound dull ... I teach 5th grade --(used to teach high school Math) - love the kids and dislike the administration (Mayor Bloomberg and Joel Klein).... I have been on a sabbatical lately b/c after my husband passed on I was unable to concentrate .... But I still have that yen to be with children ... I try to go read to the little ones at the library at least once a month, but I have to fight the "reclusive" instinct.
I am an honorary "auntie" to many of my former students' kids .... since some of my kids have had kids by 16, I even have had some of their children in my class (Ouch, that hurtz to say even) ... One of my former students is on Broadway in "THE DROWSY CHAPERONE"-- He was nominated for a TONY as best supporting actor -- go see the show ... hez great! (Adolpho)
I am the proud mommy of a daughter who is going to Graduate School to be a teacher (surprise!!!) ... really though, I tried to gear her toward ophthalmology but she was not all that interested (she said she did not want to spend her life saying "One or Two?") .... She worked as a pharmaceutical tech but did not like the hours ... and we all know that good teachers (like good nurses) are sorely needed. She loves kids also.
And, of course, I am the happy mommy of two furbabies, Monday (4 years) and Friday (3 months)!!!!

Well, currently I am not working as a paralegal, my boss was kind enough to give me some time off to come down here to be with her. I've worked there a long time and he's met my Grandmother before and really wanted me to be able to spend time with her while I still could. So, I have just been working on my websight and a friend of mine is a personal trainer down here and she offered half of her clients to me so I do some personal training in the afternoons when Nana is napping. I'm hoping to be able to bring her back up to my home in SC soon. We'd be closer to my Mother and she isn't doing well currently. She's already started loosing her hair and is not taking the chemotherapy as well this time as she did last time I want to be there for her but I don't want to leave Nana alone either and currently I'm the only one who was able to get work off to be down here so, hopefully she'll feel up to traveling soon so we can get back up there. If I get back up to SC I can do some of my paralegal work from home, and if I Nana wouldn't mind if hopsice came in for about 3 days a week I could go back to work...she hates feeling like she's being "cared for" though, she's very independent so it's hard to get outside help.

Dear Joy, What a blessing you are to your Nana and your Mother, prayers for your Mother as she is undergoing the chemotherapy and also that you and your Nana will be able to get back to South Carolina with her soon.
