I am a RN in an emergency room. I have been nurse for almost 10 years. I worked in labor and delivery for 8 years and have worked in the er for 2 years. I have recently resigned my full time position and I only work 2 days a month. My husband and I have an excavating company and he takes care of all the jobs and equipment part of the company and I do the paper work and book keeping. I will go back to nursing sometime but right now its nice to have a break...I find that every few years I need a break away from nursing...but it is nice to know that I can quit my job and take a long vacation and at any time I can get another job on any given day at any given hospital...HUGE nursing shortage. I have a teenage daughter that will be graduating from high school this year
and I have 3 dogs and a cat, and 4 nephews.
