I just now read your thread. I'm so sorry that your hamster died.

I had a hamster when i lst got married and was so upset when he died. We came home from work one day and he had died during the day sometime. A few weeks before that, he was slowing down and not acting himself. We took him over to my mom's house to bury him. My husband dug the hole and I couldn't see anything for crying so much.

Even though their little, their still your pet and you love them all the same. You have my sympathy.

At least she didn't suffer for long.

I used to love having a pet hamster... the horrible part was that they have such a short life span (in comparison to a dog or cat).
