I just now read your thread. I'm so sorry that your hamster died.
I had a hamster when i lst got married and was so upset when he died. We came home from work one day and he had died during the day sometime. A few weeks before that, he was slowing down and not acting himself. We took him over to my mom's house to bury him. My husband dug the hole and I couldn't see anything for crying so much.
Even though their little, their still your pet and you love them all the same. You have my sympathy.
