Take your pain meds. They won't take away allof the pain but it will make it bearable. If they make you sick, try eating a couple of saltine crackers with them. This will help settle your tummy. As for groggy- that happens. Your body is healing itself and rest/sleeping is good for you. It keeps you immobile.

Well, make sure you have something solid in your tummy before you take them and then just flippin' RELAX and be groggy for a while! I think you should focus on relieving the pain so your body can heal. After another day or so I'd worry about not taking the pain meds so often
