Oh, I'm so sorry that happened! As someone who has had many many broken bones, I know that sound well, and it's not one you want to hear again! Hope you're feeling better soon!

So sorry to hear this Amber. Ankles can be a real drag to get healed and ligaments/tendon damage is a long recovery. Make sure you ice, ice, and then ice some more and take Ibuprofen to help the swelling and keep it elevated. BUMMER!!

this happened to me over the summer and i had a lump on my foot as well and i never went to see a Doctor,but it took about 3 weeks to heal. the bad thing was the next day after it happened i was going on vacation. i was so mad and had to be in a wheel chair the whole time on vacation.

Hey Superwoman - You better learn to s-l-o-w down and quit trying to take care of everyone at breakneck speed! Now, follow everyone's advice on here and don't be so hard on yourself, just give yourself time to rest and heal

I'm glad your mom is there for you but give a holler if there's anything I can help with!

OMG Amber I am so sorry to hear about this to tell you truth a break would have been better and not hurt as much. I have done both and I will take a break any day over a sprane or torn lig. I will pray you get well soon. If I live closer I would try to come help sorry hun Get well soon.

OH ans BTW I twisted my neck on friday and have been on pain killers and muscle relaxers. uggg

I'm sorry! Did they at least give you some good pain pills so you can sleep at night? You poor thing!

Hey Amber....you take care of yourself girl. Don't overdo anything...I'll keep you in my prayers that you won't have to have surgery. Just do what the doc tells you. Hope you're better real soon.

Sorry guys i haven't responded i have been sleeping lol. We won't know till the first if the giardia is gone i hope it is gone it will be nice to be normal again

Thank you so much you are so sweet! Yes my mom is wonderful i don't know what i'd do without her.

Yup they got me doped up on percocets they knock me on mt butt!

Ahhh Amber...I'm so sorry to hear about your accident and can imagine how badly it hurts. I tore a ligament in my knee once which made that cracking sound like you described. Torn or pulled ligaments take a long time to heal and hurt like crazy. Sending big hugs your way and I'll pray for you to recover without needing surgery. Don't feel guilty about sitting around. You deserve to be spoiled right now!
