| I know they aren't a toy breed, but they are terriers: miniature schnauzers. This was the breed I grew up with and I think a big reason why I chose a yorkie when I was looking for a toy breed. I love the terrier personality. I also had a shih tzu before Ginger. She was special and I loved her, but I don't think that would be my first choice. Here is Fritz (schnauzer) and Shelby...forgive their hair, it was time for a grooming

| I grew up with poodles and they hold a special place in my heart but I think my next choice after Yorkies now are Biewers. Just love those babies.

| Westie! My mom has 2 and they are so fun! Only thing about them is the males are VERY protective. It's good but can be so bad! My mom also has a chiweinie and him and her male westie fight ALL the time. The chiweinie isn't aloud to touch anyone.

| Hello, As you may know we just lost our baby yorkie Chuey. But before Chuey, a while back we had a Chocolate minpin, not a good pic of her here but she was like lightning! She could catch mice with her back turned to them. My sister-in-law wanted to take her from my once my german shepherd got so big he used to fling her accross the yard. He never hurt her, but just wanted to play...Mojo must have gone through at least 8 collars! Our family looks forward to another yorkie someday. I know my boys miss chuey a great deal. Raquel

| In high school I had a toy poodle named Savage. Don't ask me why, but he was soooo smart. He laid on a pillow at night just like a human. I can remember coming home from a date and he would be waiting for me on my window seal. When he saw me coming he would run to the front door and I would kneal down close to the door and say shhhhhhhhh savage. Thank goodness he wouldn't bark because I was almost always late getting home. My next pick would be a Cairn Terrier. We had Trixie until she was 16. I really can't think of any dogs I just don't like. |

| In my past, I think my favorite is a tiny little black toy poodle. For my favorite, I might want it to be a Maltese. I've never had one but think they are gorgeous. |

| I wanted to have yorkie so much it always was my dream dog, and I even through about breeding them. But after I got my first yorkie, I haven?t had much luck. With him, and we have no ?bond? ![]() So after I got a chi, and now my favorite toy breed is a Chihuahua. My yorkie is much more beautiful of course, but my chi is a little angel. She is so loving and easy going. Also, I think maltese very cute dogs, I never owned one, but I like the look. |
