| Okay, I guess this is not really an answer but... I've had a Maltese, a Pomeranian and have seen and been around many other dogs. Yorkies are my favorite, by far!!! I would never have another kind of dog, ever. Yorkies are the best, prettiest, sweetest dogs ever!!

| Yorkies are my first 'toy' dog so this thread has really educated me...there are alot of beautiful 'toy' breeds out there. How many of these smaller breeds DONT shed...yes I know all dogs lose hair, but I mean how many are like yorkies and have hair instead of fur? Dawn |

| Cavailier King Charles would be my pick next to yorkies. Never had one but would love to someday. I think they are just beautiful.

| I have to echo, I know it's far from a toy breed, but I love all the different Lab dogs. We had a beautiful black lab for almost 15 years and she was the best! I also had a dream of a dog for 16 1/2 years, he was a beautiful American Eskimo! My brother has a really sweet black Pug! We had a white Havanese puppy in our puppy kindergarten class, that was so pretty and sweet! |

| It would definitely depend on the quality I was looking for in another small breed. My Amanda's Westie, Jack, has a precious personality but he has wayyyyy too much energy for me. I love the Biewer, but haven't been around one. I can't honestly say what I would want as far as small breed! Now ... if you asked what large breed I would want?? Hands down!!!! Lab! A big, sweet, goofy, loyal to a fault, slobber all over you, clumsy LAB!! I love those dogs!!

| She is so young in that picture... she will get to be so much more impressive in her furnishings once she is older.
