I know they aren't a toy breed, but they are terriers: miniature schnauzers. This was the breed I grew up with and I think a big reason why I chose a yorkie when I was looking for a toy breed. I love the terrier personality. I also had a shih tzu before Ginger. She was special and I loved her, but I don't think that would be my first choice.
