I read up about KathrynV expereince, she sounds so good in her determination. She is also a very good writer
I took her advice and ordered the Celetic Light Grey Sea Salt from e-bay. So as soon as that comes in...I will begin the cleanse!

You gotta see Kat is PERSON!! She's amazing!! I can't believe how much weight she lost -- if I didn't see her with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it! In ONE month (on the fast) she dropped so much weight!!

...it would be nice to drop some pounds too, but I have to admit, I really to want to cleanse my body. First I have such sinus issues - I hate it - headaches and post nasal drip, it really sucks. Also from all the s*** that I eat (mostly sweets) I just feel so contaminated - green - if you know what that feels like??? My only solution right now it all sorts of pain meds for my headaches - that do nothing at all really - and Mylanta. So, I think a cleanse for at least 10 days isn't going to hurt worse than I already am. Hopefully, it will help - that is what I am striving for.

No, the only diet I have ever done was Atkins

I plan on doing this cleanse again soon, remember it is a cleanse not a diet. A first step to eating healthy, after the cleanse you must eat correctly or you will gain the weight back.

I did it for many days and felt wonderful, other than I missed chewing so I chewed on ice cubes to fix my craving.

I do that! You are absolutely right. I felt great! Not necessarily for weight loss .... just felt like krap all the time. It's great!

OMG I also have that one and it is GREAT! I started it and got great results but I was in Florida at the time and stupid me put the powder in my suitcase with my other things and it got squished and the powder fell out, all over my clothes, so now I have to order it again when I have money but it's really great.

The Master Cleanser was what got me eating Raw!

I did the cleanse because I was taking so many meds and my body was so over loaded with years of eating crap and the SAD, the "Standard American Diet", That I was literally Poisoned from the inside out! I had watched my mother do the Master Cleanser many times before and I just decided it was time. And I did it! And let me tell you... you get really bored when your not eating!!! You don't realize how much time you really spend eating!!!! When you are fasting, you really end up with a ton of free time on your hands! So I started thinking! And bad things happen when I get thinking! So I think.... I'm ridding my body of all this poison, all this crap... really! ... No really lol and then I'm going to.... what start eating the same crap and put it all back in??? after fasting for so long... I thought... you could eat off the floors of my insides! well.. maybe not, but I was pretty clean... And I was pretty proud of it! So I wanted to somehow keep that up! And thats when the research started! Research is never a good thing for a board person who is sucking down spicy lemonade and dreading food for fear it will dirty up her insides! Yes at this point I am actually afraid that it will get my guts dirty! Yes... stressed out is more the vibe... I can't go back to food till I know what I'm doing! So I'm on this computer every free second!

And I learned about Raw food! And I kept the weight I lost off, cause I did not go back to the crap I was eating before and I made changes in my diet... Notice I did not day that I went on a diet.... Cause I never went off of any diet, there was no rules to follow, no forbidden list, no food combining, no celebrity endorsements... just me researching a better way of eating and me making decisions for myself to better my health. And in the end my healthy choices paid off ten fold in weight loss, improvement in health issues. I had surgery on my heel and needed it on the other one as well... I never had it done... with the weight loss came complete recovery! I saved myself a very painful surgery! I only wish I did it sooner and saved myself the first one!

The cleanse cured my cravings for trashy foods, I no longer craved the foods that were unhealthy for me, the processed foods, and I was ravenous for fresh whole food. It was wonderful!

I would recommend the cleanse to anyone! But I would caution two things... Please look at it as a cleanse! Follow it to the letter and skip NOTHING! And towards the middle and end... DO NOT get lazy on how much you drink! Take ALL the Lemonade and water!!! You will NEVER grow weak if you take in the lemonade and water... if you alow yourself to cut out a serving or two.... you are depleting yourself!!! Do not take from your body! Do not deprive your body! Give it EVERYTHING it needs... This will not speed up weight loss! Do not cut corners! Weight loss is a wonderful side effect! It comes naturally! DO NOT force it! And do not let it be the focus of your fast.... Focus on cleansing! Your body will thank you!

I don't think I could do any sort of cleanse that required liquids only...
If you're looking for a "quick fix" I'd definitely not recommend a cleanser since you lose a lot of water weight and do gain a few lbs back even w/ extremely healthy eating. You could keep most of it off though but that's w/ healthy eating.

I do a mini cleanse that my trainer put me on before I started on my diet. It's 7 days and consists of actual food..but it's very detailed and you have to eat 6 times a day. I never went hungry on it and I felt so great.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like some more info on it.

Forgot to mention..I lost about 8 lbs in those 7 days and gained only 2 back.
However my eating plan is pretty strict which is probably the main reason why I haven't gained any of it back.

If you try this by the 2nd day your craving for sweets will be gone. If you would like to try the Master Cleanse I have the book, pm me and I'll send it to you.

I did it, but only lasted 10 days. I got so sick of hot maple lemonaide. I did feel better. Try the Smooth Move Chocolate and you'll really see what your body stores up.

Okay, I hope I don't sound stupid, but...what is the smooth move chocloate???
