| Kathryn - Did you have problems from all the acid in the lemonade? --like w/ acid reflux, heartburn, acid sores, stomache problems, etc? I'm just curious, since lemonade (especially that much for a long time) is so acidy.

The Master Cleanser gives several options for "cleansing" your system. One is a laxative herbal tea. I chose Smooth Move herbal tea in chocolate flavor. One of the other options is an Internal Salt Water Bath. That is one quart luke-warm water and 2 level teaspoons of uniodized Sea Salt. Not ordinary iodized table salt. I have HBP and was concerned about the salt absorbtion. Also, for me the Dark Maple Syrup & cayenne pepper seemed to neutralize the acid in the lemon juice.

| NOT AT ALL! And I have major issues with extreme foods, such as spicy and acid, and heavy dairy... but but by day three I was doubling the pepper in my lemonaid! and by day six I was using a half a teaspoon, not a tenth! it tasted sooo good! and its a serious blood cleanser! and NOT ONCE! did it ever upset my stomach or bowels... I was totally fine! All this talk is making me want to do it again! It would be just the thing to get me back on track after being "off the wagon" for the past few months.... I have been eating not so good for a while... but I have kept loosing, cause my not so good is still amazingly well compared to most. Just not as good as I'd like it to be... Hmmmmmmm Maybe I need to get all of this junk out of me... the M&M's alone that I have consumed are reason enough to do this fast! I have had enough procedded candy to line a football field! Its my one true weakness! Ok... thats it! I'm going to do it! I just talked myself into it! But not till after my birthday dinner on monday! I'm NOT missing that! I'm scarfing SUSHI till my Eyes POP OUT OF MY HEAD! K So as Promised... lol I weigh... one day late... 156 this afternoon! UGH... I should have weighed this morning! I had lunch and a ton of water! lol And I'm fully dressed, in jeans! They weigh a ton! lol YES! I exhale and suck it in when I step on the scale! Oh boo! You know you do too! You just won't admitt it in public... you get on the scale naked! We all do! Heck... I take my glasses off! lol And my watch too! he he he

| Yorkie Yakker | Dr. David O. Young, author of pH Miracle Diet talks a lot about doing this type of flush in the morning but drinking an 8 oz glass of purified water and 2 ts of sea salt. After drinking this sea water (ugh) you'll need to quench your thirst with at least a liter or two of purified water. I tried it and boy! it gives your intestines a REAL workout without the aid of herbal laxatives. If anyone decides to do this, I'd give yourself at least three hours before leaving the house. It does wonders for your skin. Similar to colonics but costs $60 less. |

| Y'all are making me want to do this so bad! We are building a new house and will be moving in 2 weeks and I am a total stress eater. I have been feeling like such a sluggish pig from the junk I've been shoving in my mouth. I don't think I could deal with it right now though (stress ) but in about a month I should be moved and settled in and be ready to go. If anyone thinks they'd be interested in doing the cleanse about a month from now, I think it would be so cool to do it with someone else.

Yay! I'll post when things settle down. Maybe rather than waiting until I'm unpacked, it would make more sense to start right after the move since I will be busy unpacking and painting and not so focused on food. You really don't feel tired during the cleanse?

| I really think I am ready to try this...The way I see it, it surely can't hurt to give it a try. I bought everything but the syrup yesterday....On a tight budget ![]() I can't find the syrup anywhere near here...I checked the "nature" store and they do carry it, but don't know when they will get it back in. I really don't have the money to order it online right now...Atleast not at the prices I saw...and I don't get paid until Friday BLAH Sheesh what is the average cost that is paid for those of you that have done this before? What types of stores have you bought it in? Have any of you tried an off the shelf syrup? I'm dissapointed that I can't start today.....I really wanted to get rolling with it.

I have seen it in the odd grocery store, it does at first seem expensive to get all the stuff but it works out as you are spending less on food. Way to go and good luck! | |
