I am very happy to know that you will not lose your home and I hope you are able to keep it now. I am in awe that you only had to borrow $234!! The kindness of strangers saved you and your family today from 3 months of debt! We are struggling financially as well, but our house payment and groceries come first. There are no extras until that is paid, anything else falls to the side...

There wasn't anything to defend - from what I read on this long thread it was only people wondering why things got to this point. I totally understand financial problems more than you know....

I swear if I had money I'd donate to every single cause I could...I really would - I don't have much but always have a hard time when I see a need and wish I could send money out too everyone who needs it - most of all sick dogs and people who can't pay vet bills those break my heart -

but you can't blame people for asking...it's normal to do this especially when their money is involved. Do you have 10 days left to take care of your house now or is this something they need now cause it's after 5 pm here in Houston

raising nearly 1k in less than 9 hours based on the good will of strangers is pretty amazing. and V is right. there's nothing to defend. some can offer money to support you. some can offer prayers and good vibes. some can offer you advice on how not to make the same mistakes over again. but they can't offer that advice without knowing how you got into your hole. imho, "how did this happen" is a completely valid reason. of course you are also within your rights to protect your privacy and not share the details on a public board, but you can't fault people for asking the question. JMHO.

i said i was sorry and everything i understand there were questions. I dont know what else you all wanted. to be fair to me. I didnt raise 1000.00 off yt... wonderful people on donated 410.00 orders and such..the other stuff i took upon my own and sold...a bakers table..antique..a tv and dvd palyer, a couch that was upstairs, and a few other things. SO as i have hoped this would close and hasnt i request that everybody just act like i diappeared. Thanks

i didnt EXPECT anybody to help..as tyou can guys can read from my first post..I came on here just for pryaers and support thats it... I appreciate all that has been given and have said thank yoyu several times! I thank you fr having me in your thoughts!

i got into this hole for several reasons..stupidity, and everything else..my husband was the same way!

You're welcome! My bf and I just bought our first house, and I got laid off the same week we closed! It's really hard, but somehow were managing it. Also, before I messed up my credit and got deliquent, and I know how upsetting it is.

You raised a nice amount of money from very generous, caring people.

You do have to understand that for some before giving they would like to know the whole story. We still haven't heard it and since I didn't contribute since I don't know why I would be giving money to you, I don't have the right to ask.

But after going over some threads you started there seems to be a pattern. I'm sorry you're having so many problems and I hope your life gets better soon. All the best to you and your family!

We have ALL been in the same place she's been in at one time of our lives!! I don't think she originally started out asking for money. She just needed a place to vent and hope for some prayers and words of encouragement from us. I know I have been in some situations that I didn't want to ask family or friends for help. If YT had been around back then, I may have posted the same way she did. It's nice to have a place to be able to let out your frustrations without having to deal with family members or friends saying "I told you so". At least she didn't just shrug off all her responsibilities and give up. I hope that at some point in her life, she's able to do the same for another person.
