Can you tell me how Kimkims differ from the atkins diet? I don't have a lot of time to read everything right now, I'll go back and look over that forum more tonight but I thought maybe you could tell me easier. | |

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I have books on the way. I hope I make it that long! I've been eating alot of salad too. Last night for dinner we had pork on the grill, green beans and a salad with brocoli and ranch dressing. Dinners I do great! Its the breakfast and lunches I'm tired of ! LOL My cravings are just crazy though. CRAZY! |

| How long before your books arrive? You can buy them at Wal-Mart. Quote:

| O.k...do you have a book store near you where you can sit and read books? If so go take a look at the Atkins book there...or...you can take a look at the link JESSY_RN2B posted earlier, it might help too. Quote:

| That's a good forum, I spent some time looking around there last night. I learned a few things. I'm going to get a little more strict with my diet. No more Atkins bars or tortillas for me for two weeks. I'm going to go to serious induction again and see what that does for me. I haven't done that since October. I also think that I'm going to do a little experiment with myself and follow the 1972 atkins diet guidelines for a while, they're a little more strict. |

| I just did a little search and this is what I came up with. I'm curious why you are watching your potassium? I know if mine gets low, I get leg cramps. Are you experiencing this? 1 4 oz pork chop (boneless) ? 514 mg 1 cup cooked chopped broccoli ? 458 mg ? avocado ? 436 mg ? cup cooked spinach ? 420 mg 4 oz beef (sirloin) 495 mg 4 oz grilled salmon ? 480 mg 1 cup chopped chicken breast meat ? 358 mg 1 cup raw cauliflower ? 303 mg 2 T peanut butter ? 240 mg 1 cup black tea - 88 mg |
