Every year my Mother in law gives me a cheesy candle holder. She shops at the dollar stores so thats where they probably come from. She always goes out of her way to get My Husband a personal gift. I just end up giving the candleholders to good will.

the clapper thing was pretty funny. Every time I would use it we would laugh until we cried. then about 6 months after I got it it stopped working. What a bummer!!!

One year I gave my Mom some pretty (I thought) rose-shaped soaps that you float on top of the bathwater and then use.

A year later, what did I get? Some pretty rose soaps that "you put in your drawer and they make everything smell soooo good".

She honestly didn't realize her mistake. When I told my husband, I laughed until I cried! Still makes me laugh to think about it.

wow that is worse than mine. One year we got a glass boot with hard nasty candy in it, YES DOLLAR STORE I saw it there.
