Worst Present Ever
 
:happyhat: OK, in the spirit of Christmas, what was the worst present you ever got?:giftbox:

Yes, I KNOW, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth..." But HONESTLY, did you ever get something that just made you say, "What in the world were they thinking?"

The worse present I got for Christmas was probably this 10 year olds make-up set when I was 19 from a relative. :rolleyes: They must have forgotten I didn't PLAY dressup anymore. I ended up giving it to a little girl to have fun with..lol

dish towels! We do a gift exchange every year on my husbands side. well they usually ask what we want to get some ideas, but last year, they didnt so I got dish towels!

uhh when i was 15 or 16 my grandma got me a like counter top spatula and untensil holder. i still lived with mymom but she bought my like kitchen utensils that sat in a spinning holder, i was so sad, embarrassed i dont know it was a let down. :(
but hey i dont think my christmas' have been much better since then. my husband hasnt even, and probably wont buy me a christmas gift, its kinds sad when i really think about it but then i just focus on my kids openeing theirs, and my mom gets great gifts, sometimes

you know come to think of it one year she got me an actual touched by an angel t shirt from the tv show becuase my husbands name is angel and i was pregnant at the time, that wasnt very funny or a great gift but i think she learned, i hope

my husbands has been butt hurt since 2004 when i let him venture in the amll to buy me a gift, mind you i was 9 months pregnant with my twins and grouchy so any way he calls me and says ok im done so we meet back up and i tell him ok what do i need to tranfer from savings, and he says 600.00 and im like what what can he possibly have gotten me thats 600.00 dollars, so i was allready pissy, when you are pregnant more less with twins all you worry about is them buying their clothes diapers, so forth, so when christams came it was a set of earrings, 1 carat earrings in platinum, which i love butttt thats not the pint 600.00 could have went somewhere else so since then he has been butt hurt and i tell him i love clothes shoes, etc and you can spend 100 and get tons of stuff but he wont, he just refusees to go unless i go and pick it out welll thats no fun though
sorry for my novel here i guess i should write a book :D

My DEAR husband bought me an IRON he first year we were together... :mad: yeah right.. Like I was going to IRON for him. Kinda as bad as the MEAT SLICER for my birthday so i could make his lunches for work easier:mad: :mad:

SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHH they do learn though if you keep them long enough. I only get diamonds now:p :D

NEVER NEVE NEVER return the expensive gifts. I used to think the same way and return stuff until I learned that I get NOTHING if I return something expensive. So now I just wallow in expensive:p

hes supposed to have bought me a juicy purse, his mom bought it for him and he was going to pick it up and pay her, but then her daughter my sister in law came over 2 nights ago with it on ehr shoulder and i said ohh thats nice is it yours? since im nto supposed to know the whole scenario with the the purse for christmas and she said yeah
so i was like what ever dumb woman i told my husband dont even buy it i dont want it after she used it, thats not a christams gift thats like a used hand me down gift in its own way, but he was like you arnt supposed to know but i had to tell him or his mom would work him for the money and still give me a used purse

I would have thrown the purse at his head;)

i kept them i still wear them i just uhh my husband sometimes drives me crazy
i came home from work the other day and there was some guy in my husbands truck and i thoguht he was stealing the speakers etc and i turnes out my husband had all his speakers changed and a new system put in and them informs me that they are adding screens to my tahoe and adding a new system to it to, im like whatttt how much :mad:
oh yeah only 1200 dollars right before christmas

my husbands mom is like that she was telling him it was new purse and that it was in the bag still and here her daughter is using it, wtf :mad:
