| Leave the camera connected and turn the computer off then back on again. When you reboot the computer looks for new drivers and such. They should have come with the camera so they should (should) be there. Good luck. |

| I'm not sure what all you've tried so far...... But, have you tried reinstalling the program? Next did you go to www.kodak.com ? On the Kodak website go to Comsumer Products (don't click on it, just slide your cursor over it) a box will pop up..go down the list to Downloads and Drivers Scroll down that page and fill in the line..another line will pop up until it gets all the information for your camera....then just do what it tells you. I hope this helps. If not, contact the Kodak company either by email or phone. They will be able to help you. Unless someone else here can help. I know it's frustrating...just take it slow.

| is there a way to contact kodak for assistance perhaps? or you might have to seek professional help from a computer repair place. or do you have a friend that is a computer expert that can help you figure it out? |

I'm no expert, but I don't think it's your computer...contact Kodak and request a new CD (new program disk).

I'm so sorry you have had to go through all this. It is very frustrating for sure!! I had a different program that I had to request a program CD for cause I knew it wasn't my computer. It cured the problem for me. Hope it does for you too!!
