| Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Jess, I am so glad you were able to tell your parents and work through this situation today.....that is a huge and hardest first step. I am also glad the timing will not effect your school and graduation! I want to also tell you how proud I am that you talked with your parents today....that shows alot of maturity to face your parents with your pregnancy and begin to move forward! And by the way....congrats and keep us informed about your pregnancy!!!

| I'm so happy for you. I know you will have hard times ahead and at times it may seem like too much, but I promise you, One look into that little babys eyes and you will know it was all worth it. I have two beautiful daughters 13 and 2 and I cant imagine my life without them. They are wonderful gifts from God. Having a child will change your entire world. You will truely begin to understand your parents as you will be so overly protective of this new bundle of joy. All those years of your parents telling you, when you have a child you will understand..... Well you will find out they are right. It will all make sense. lol Keep your head up, eat healthy, and try to avoid the stress as much as possible. I know you are young, but you can do it. I'm so thankful that your parents are helping you. My hat is off to them!!! I will keep all of you in my prayers. |

| I saw this thread too late and sent you a PM. I'm moving up to Chicago in a couple of weeks. I might have some baby stuff for you if you would like. But lets turn this thread into a celebration of life! It's time to look forward to this precious baby you've been blessed with! Soon you're going to be so excited and can't wait to have the baby in your arms. Are you hoping for a boy or a girl? Have you thought of any names yet? Try to stay positive! As you can see from this thread many women have been in the same situation. It is what you make of it. Sometimes a baby brings direction to a persons life, drive, and maturity. Things will work out in the end. If the dad doesn't want to be a part of the baby's life then it's his loss and he'll be the one to regret it. When you're ready you'll eventually find a man who will love your child as his own. For now try your best to be happy about the choice you have made. Maybe even go to the store with your mom and buy a cute outfit for the baby! |

| Wow! What an awsome conclusion. I am a guy and let me tell you I read the whole thing and feel like there is great weight off my shoulders now that you have told your parents. I am so glad things turned out this way. Its just horrible to be in the "What Ifs" position. |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OH GOOD - sometimes the hardest step is the first one and telling your parents was the thing to do - even if you didn't tell them they'd have known soon enough and then you'd really have hurt their feelings - so good for you ! Glad things are working out ... |
