| It just keeps raining & raining in Western Washington... now we have floods in some low-land areas, families have had to be evacuated. I'm hoping the weather will calm down for us soon. A few days ago, we had such high winds in our area - just as my husband and I said, we need to put the patio umbrella away...the wind swept up the umbrella, taking the glass from the table and it shattered all over the deck. I'm just thankful we still have power and we're located on top of a hill - so the floods aren't affecting us. Our prayers go out to those who are affected by the floods...stay safe.

| I was wondering how you all on the other side were holding up? It has just been bizarre! As far as I know Tigers Mom & I are the only ones on the East side of the state. There has been just some minor flooding, but nothing compared to what you guys are going through. I actually saw on GMA this AM a horse in Sutlan that took refuge on the front porch of a house. The only place left that was not flooded My daughter just came home and the Wenatchee River(eventually flows into the Columbia) is now over it banks in areas. Last time that happened it took the cows from one of the farms and dumped them into the Columbia River. They were trying to get them out before they got to the dam. Our prayers are with you

| How is everyone in Wa. today? I hope you are all safe, although I live in NJ I just left Bellevue in time. My daughter and her husband live there. They just had their roof replaced this summer and it has developed a bad leak right over their tv. They live on a hill side above Lake Sammamich. Wa. state is a beautiful place, when we were there we took the ferry from Anacortes out to Friday Harbour in the San Juans. I don't I've ever seen anything as beautiful. We got to see Orcas, foxes, deer and Bald Eagles. |
