I am a Christian and have been since I was 13. I have not always lived a wonderful life since that time. I have fallen by the wayside several times, but my Lord was always there to help me back to my feet, brush me off and send me on my way again. He is always there when I call on Him...He always answers prayer - not always like I want, but He always answers me. A lot of people are scared away from Christianity by hypocrisy...there will always be hypocrits in church...but you have to keep your focus on Him and not what others do. Personally, I cannot imagine life without the Lord...I love Him...He saved me...He forgave me...He still forgives me...and He loves me back! We attend a non-denominational church and are members of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Our ministry is not in the church...it is in the secular world...there is a huge need out there.

Born and raised a proud Catholic. We've had a lot of negatives things happen in our lives which God has helped us through.

Sorry for the large type, still needing them as my vision is not okay yet. But believing it will be.

I believe that God is LOVE and that he gave his all for us, his son Jesus. Together through this life they are always with us to provide us with the wisdom to know what the will of God is through the path we choose to follow. My belief has always been to have love for one another, regardless of what race, religion or nationality anyone is, that we are all God's creation. I pray daily for the needs of all man kind and especially for the leaders of all countries throughout the world, that they will lean to the real leader being that of God and look to him for answers to problems that arise. I have found such peace within myself through my years in this life in asking for God's guidance every day. When I ask him for his help in getting tasks done, boy does he know how to help me push on I am so thankful that I came to know God at an early age in my life. I am nearing 70 now in this life but I know in my eternal home there will be no age as we all will have new bodies and no health issues to deal with and no bills to pay, no wordly possesions, these and all things are only temporary. What really matters is knowing Jesus gave his all when he died for me on the cross and arose to go on to be with God to help prepare our heavenly home. I continually thank God each day for the blessings he has given to me, recently one being that of giving me back my sight, after having a stroke and seeing nothing but black for 4 and half hours. This life is not an easy one, but through all the pain we must go through none compares to that of how Jesus suffered on the cross when he gave his all for us. I too believe that there is a garden there for our pets to frolic in and Cassie is there amongst all our other pets, and that one day we will all be together forever and ever. To whom ever reads this, peace be unto you and may each and every day be one that is of good will towards yourself and others. Patti

I am a Christian
and I don't really believe in the splitting up of the faith,
so I follow the bible. What I read, not what someone chooses to tell me.

and I believe that most religions are praying to the same God, we all just have a different name. I love prayers from anyone!

Some people might no I was agnostic/athiest for a LONG time until I had gotten to a really bad place in my life, and was very sick and God helped me and told me that it was ok to believe.

and I guess I am a little evangilest because I enjoy spreading my faith to people who WANT to learn, I'd never force it on anyone! (except my cousins.)

Agnostic is when you really are undecided and don't know what to believe, and you think we'll NEVER know until we die. So you would rather not worry about it, and you usually think that if there IS a heaven and hell then it isn't based on each sin, it's based on if you were a good person as a whole, or a bad person, like a serial killer.

I have a dictionary meaning here..so I worded it properly...

* One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God.
* One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.
* One who is doubtful or noncommittal about something.

My own feelings about being agnostic..

An agnostic isn't sure about the existance of God/god, but is open to the possibility that god/God exists. I myself do believe in a higher power...not God/god.

Funny I grew up Christian but now and Agnositc..but..Atheist and Agnostic are two different things...Atheists do not believe in God at all..Agnostics dont disbelieve or believe in God..anything is possible...agnostics stand neutral until more can be proven.

I am a Christian, but I do not believe in organized religion.

I disagree with what most churches preach. I believe that they just don't get it.

IMO The bible is a rule book for each of us to use as a guide on how to live, not a book for a few people to use to tell the rest of us what we are doing wrong.

Now don't misunderstand, I have nothing against enforcing the law. But there is a big difference between crimes against man and sins agains God.

People can deal with crimes, but sins are God's territory.

Our sins are between ourselves and God.

I'm writing a book about this.

Your beliefs are pretty close to my way of thinking.

Many people use the bible to point out oyther people fault, completely ignoringdf "judge not, lest ye be judged" "Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord" And "let he who is without sin cast the first stone"

I also don't believe that God will change a situation, he can only change you in how you deal with or handle, the situation, but you have to ask for his help.

I believe in god but dont feel i have to go sit in a pew in a church for an hour and listen to somebody elses interpretation of it. I have god in my heart and that should be good enough sor everybody.. Jesus didnt preach in a church he walked the earth...... That and i have found that church going ppl ( NO OFFENSE TO ANYBODY) are the most judgemental. atlaeast they are here.

Love Thanks for sharing.

Thrills my heart to hear you tell of what God has done in your life. I, too, desire it for all.

So I gave up and one day ask God to come into my life and help me. I didn't know anything about God but I still ask.

Then amazing things started happening , It was not cancer! I get a job that paid about 4,000 a month grooming!! Three months on food stamps, the most degrading thing I have ever had to do was over, and my allergies went away, I am not joking no more shots or drugs.
So I am a believer in God and Jesus and in Angles , and peace is in my heart every day because of it. Even when the bad things happen in life I know I am not alone. And that is a great feeling, I wish it on everyone.
Some days I can just feel his arms around me. I am lucky.

Unfortunately, Good Christians, and Good Church goers are not necessarily the same group of people.

Just because you don't go to church does not mean you aren't a good Christian. And just because you do go, does not mean that you are.
