| Grew up Catholic, went to Catholic school. Now I am Non-Denominational. If it wasn't for his loving arms, I am sure I could not have made it. I am very blessed to work for a company that serves churches of all denominations. We get to pray at work for our customers, ourselves and sometimes Yorkie Talk members (some of my co-workers think I am nuts). |

| Catholic here. I like the pomp and circumstance, but I don't agree with all the stuff in-between. Learned the most about my faith during the 14 years I taught religious education. I respect and honor all religions and love exploring them.

| I'm not any religion, I believe you should be a good person and help others. I've found religion too restricting(the people I've enountered tend to be too judgmental or closed minded or like to tell you their religion when in life you know that they do things that you'd consider wrong). I don't like religion because I find it's such a personal thing that I hate when people try to sway you towards their thinking about it. Basically, my belief is be the best person you can be, volunteer, help someone when they need it(especially if they don't ask), treat others how you want them to treat you, don't hurt anyone(emotionally or physically), don't judge someone because they are different than you(race, nationality, gay/straight, prochoice, prolife, religious or not. A religious symbol doesn't make you a better person...it's your actions. My brother goes to church every week(me, never). He once told me that he considered me one of the purest people he's knows. I took that as a compliment because of the fact that he knows I'm NOT religious.

| I am a Christian, but it wasn't always this way. In 1980 my doctor told me I had cancer need to have surgery to remove it, My marriage had ended, I could not find enough work, had to live on food stamps, and I was on medication every day for allergies. So I gave up and one day ask God to come into my life and help me. I didn't know anything about God but I still ask. Then amazing things started happening , It was not cancer! I get a job that paid about 4,000 a month grooming!! Three months on food stamps, the most degrading thing I have ever had to do was over, and my allergies went away, I am not joking no more shots or drugs. So I am a believer in God and Jesus and in Angles , and peace is in my heart every day because of it. Even when the bad things happen in life I know I am not alone. And that is a great feeling, I wish it on everyone. Some days I can just feel his arms around me. I am lucky. Debbie Ray www.sumtoiyorkies.com |

Basically, none of us are victims. We create the life we are in and we can choose to uncreate it. It's just a matter of how you use the energy. Simplistically stated. | |

| We are catholic, new catholics as of this past Easter. My daughter and I went through the RCIA classes and my husband was raised catholic. Me, my daughter and our son (four at the time) were baptized. We could be better catholics though and really need to go to church every weekend!! |

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I'm a Christian. I believe Jesus died for my sins and He is the only way to God and eternal life. Although I don't like to use the term "religion" because what people understand of that term is an imposed set of rules that one is obligated to follow. I do what I do, I live the way I live because I choose that and because I want to please Jesus because I love him. It's like when you are married, If you do stuff just because it's your obligation but you don't love your husband, it's not gonna last long, but if you do love him, you want to do things right and please him in anyway you can. I serve at my church in the music ministry and also I teach kids in Sunday School. I can't imagine my life any other way and sometimes I wonder how people that don't know Him can stay afloat in life. |
