Computer problems should absolutely be taken into consideration .... 1/2 point??? They have to be kidding! We will keep you in our prayers .... keep your chin up!

Chanting for 1/2 the point form Ohio. Good luck you would think that the appeal would be a no brainer.

Thank you guys so much! it is just a tough pill to swallow to anihilate the other section, then fail the ethics (arguably the most important part) by 1/2 point! I am working on assembling a team of experts, literally (4 fellow classmates, 2 professors, and a ethics consultant) to pour over my answers and find places that points should have been awarded. The goal is to find like 3 or 4 whole points I should have gotten, and did not...After that well I can request a hearing to argue that to fail me given that I recieved a 162 (missing only 18 points) on the other portion it is clear I meet the minimum standard of competancy and it would be "manifestly unjust" to fail me...The real problem is the time lost due to the computer melt down, and that I may not have enough material to even have them review it on the appeal and I did sign a release regarding the possibility of computer meltdown!

So thank you all for thinking of me, I am really not coping well with this...In sum what law school got me was a sleep disorder (I can never sleep now), a failure complex, $120k in student debt, and a whole lot of anxiety...So if any of you YTers out there are considering it, I strongly reccomend rethinking that decision

okay now I am losing it and need to vent, I realized I am going to face so much professional discrimination now that I was not on that pass list even if my appeal works I have lost my job already they called to fire me today, and apparently only 2 types of people fail (1) morons, and (2) lazy people and hence no respectable firm will hire me. So here I am feeling trapped and devestated...Who knows what I will do now. Thank you to everyone on YT for being so nice and listening to me feeling upset.

Aww I'm so sorry you lost your job, but please don't let that get you down. I know it's easier said than done, but try to remember that when one door closes God opens 3 more. Just remember that when you're feeling sad, and you are not a moron or a lazy person. You have worked your butt off and deserve the best. THAT JOB DIDN'T DESERVE YOU

Trust me, I knw whaat you are going through, I am in the process of finding another job and it's almost harder when you have the smarts and the experience
