Val, hopefully this pathetic little loser will give up soon and find some other pasttime (wouldn't you hate to see the websites he visits??). Until then I think I'd be careful about trying to turn the tables on him. First of all, you don't want him to know he's getting to you, that just encourages him. Also you don't want to aggravate the situation and cause him to carry it any further. I'd stay on guard, get some pepper spray, and prob change my number. He's prob calling 10 other girls and if he can't get you on the phone anymore he'll move on to someone else. Keep us posted and be careful!

Be very careful with this Val...sounds like he means business. I am sorry you are having to go thru this but we live in a sick world. I know you don't want to, but the only way to make this stop is change your number. Just call or email everybody in your phone book about what is going on and tell them to make a note of your new number. This is not about convenience...it is about your safety and maybe even your life. I would not depend on the police to resolve it either...after all, he has not threatened you...but violence more times than not has no warning...change your number and be safe!

Sully goes to work with me every single day now. Cool, huh? Kristy sold me her doggie carseat and I've got it hooked up on the passengers' seat and he loves riding in it! (I drive a ways to work so it's really perrrrfect to have.) But since I drive so far, and with my dog, I really don't think anyone is following me, at least to work.

And I did tell my neighbors to be on the lookout. I haven't been able to call the HOA regime yet but when someone is in the office, I will definitely be informing them about what's going on.

OH and the cop that is on this case said he has been "unable to get a hold" of that guy to have a talk with him yet. So no wonder the calls have continued. Whew, it's good to know that at least b/c I'm hoping once he's officially warned he'll stop calling.

GOOD for you and stay on that cop - there is NO reason for him to be dragging his feet - we see this too much and then AFTER the fact you get all the attention - we want him to stop this BEFORE something terrible happens - I've been thinking of you for Days Val - BE careful and GOOD LUCK ! I'm so glad Sully is going to work with you. Now we just have to worry about Penny....but I bet nothing will happen - it sounds like you have lots of eyes out for that lowlife

I don't know if this will work, but you might want to try this: My cousin used to get calls from a Private number about 3-4 times a day. He would say hello, and nobody would answer. Well, it would make him mad, so of course I got mad too. I answered his phone one day and said: Just because you have your number blocked, does NOT mean we can't get your number. If you don't stop calling, we're filing a police report and they will get the Verizon phone records. So STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!! He actually stopped calling. And this went on for months and months prior to me yelling at the idiot!
I really feel for you. Questions: Does he block his number now? If he has caller ID, he might not be picking up the phone if he sees the police department's number. Maybe the police should go to his house! Do you know where the guy is from?

He lives locally, I think. I do know his number b/c it shows up on my caller ID. The cop said he did research and knows who the guy is - he has Sprint. The cop calls from a "Private" number when he calls me so I'm sure it would show up the same on the stalker's phone. Hmm, maybe the cop will go by his house if he can't get a hold of him. But I think if the cop keeps trying he will get a hold of him eventually.

So far, no calls from him today yet! YAY!
