I just received an email yesterday someone had 1 yorkie, 2 english bulldogs and 1 Maltese. My first email sent, i said i wanted the yorkie then i sent another asking about the maltese.. well low and behold all were gone in less than 12 hours except.. you guessed it, the YORKIE!

If you notice in the email which had me a little worried is she said "lola HAD her own distinct personality." Now for someone living in Arkansas and i am looking for Pocohantas...her english is not so good.

Omg! I hate scammers!!! It is sad but some people want a dog so bad they fall for that. My husband almost fell for that. Then he told me that he was getting me a puppy for our anniversary and I started with the research!! I researched for about 3 months before I made a decision.

btw does anyone know of a legit place i may acquire a yorkie. i have wanted one all my life and i have never been lucky enough to find one that was in the cards for me.. teacup is what i am looking for. now after reading all these pages of scams, i am afraid now to even venture out.

I know this thread is like 4 years old, but I just have to say how awesome it was! I am sitting here, sick from my chemo treatments, and was laughing soo hard! Its the first time I have been happy all day! Thank you guys for the laugh!!! I needed it BIG TIME!!!!

First off, hello and welcome to YT! You will find a lot of great help and information on here. Most of us on here don't like or use the term "teacup." That is a term used by greedy breeders and pet shops (AKA puppymills) as a way of getting a lot more money out of you. They have no real care or regard for the breed, and they purposefully try to breed teeny tiny dogs in the hopes of getthing thousands of dollars from you. Most dogs under 3 lbs have many, many health problems as a result. You should look for a yorkie that is at least 3 lbs or more (the typical high end weight for a yorkie is 7 lbs, but many members on here have babies that are up to 10 lbs, we call them teapots lol!). You should get in contact with some of the featured breeders on this site. They have so much positive feedback from other members on here, and put the care of their pups above anything else. I got my Sasha from a breeder on this site, and the entire process was fantastic!

On an entirely different note, I loved reading this thread (even though it's four years old!)! I was laughing my @ss off during the whold thing! I can't believe these people get away with their nonsense, and that Americans actually fall for it! I love it, keep it up guys!

I haven't heard from you and I'm getting anxious because your email below says that you have already shipped them!!! I've been crying every night because I'm so afraid that these puppies are at the airport waiting for me and I don't know where to go to pick them up!!!
