| How much to you guys pay for your cell phone service? My contract for AT&T is up in May. I've been with them for more than 10 years. We currently have unlimited talk/text and 2Gb for data(shared). For the two of us, we pay almost $100 incl taxes, which I think is WAY too much. Since we work from home most of our cell data use is via wifi ($45/mo) so we don't use our data. What company do you guys use? Are you happy with them and how much to you pay? The biggest concern I have is coverage. Not a big deal when at home or out and about in the city, but driving "home" to CA from Vegas. the vast open desert. If something where to happen, I need coverage all the way. AT&T covers that area. Who else? I heard Criket uses AT&T towers. Does anyone know if this is true?

| My husband and I have AT&T, we only pay $30 for both our lines but he gets a pretty good discount because he works there. Also AT&T doesn't offer unlimited data any longer so once you get rid of it you can't get it back, so I would really think about that before making a decision. My husband had a customer 8 weeks ago who had unlimited data and canceled his service to go to sprint but decided to come back to At&t after a week and wanted his unlimited data back but he wasn't able to get it back since they don't offer it anymore, the guy was pretty pissed off. My husband says yeah AT&T could be pricy but the coverage is better than anything else. Hope this helps a bit (: Last edited by stephanierubyxo; 04-14-2015 at 09:08 PM. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | We were with Alltel for almost 15 yrs before they got bought our by AT&T/ we were only paying $59 for the first line $0 for the 2nd lines unlimited talk and text. AT&T matched that but they do it differently but ends up being the same cost. They charge per line.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I don't know for sure how much we'd pay bc right now, Tony's firm pays for our cells. BUT, I was just talking to someone yesterday who was paying $372 a month w/ Verizon...he then switched his whole family over to Ting - and they now pay $99 a month. That's huge savings.

| I use to have AT&T but switched to Verizon because we weren't getting reception in SC when we were down there. The switch increased my bill almost 60$ a month and we lost unlimited Our bill is now 214. And that is with a discount for nurses the number of people 4 on our plan hasn't increased either.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I have a very old Verizon plan . . I pay $160 for family plan . I have 1000 mins to split and unlimited Verizon to Verizon text but unlimited data. . I don't use that much of it. They want me to upgrade my phone but I lose the unlimited data. . .i think it is unfair so I still have the plan but an older phone. I have to buy a phone outright to keep my plan.

| My phone is paid for by work so I really don't know what it costs. It is Sprint/Nextel and I hate it. Drops calls on a regular basis. There are certain areas that if I am on the phone I will tell the person I am talking to that I am about to lose them. My gf has Verizon. Not cheap but by far the best coverage in Michigan. You get what you pay for.

| We have 3 smart phones on Verizon and our plan runs right at 200.00 per month if we don't go over our data. Thats unlimited text, and 2gb data per phone. I guess that averages 62.00/phone/month. Based on what everyone else is posting our plan seems kinda high.

| After seeing all the Walmart "unlimited" ads on tv I went to their site and checked. It's not unlimited. The $29.88/mo is for the first line only and 500mb of data. How is that unlimited? The other plan is $39.88/mo with 2.5gb of data. So after fees and taxes that would still be more than what I am paying. Once I take off the insurance on my plan it will be $43/mo per phone. No way the Walmart plan fees are less than $3. Looks like I don't have a choice but stay with AT&T.
