| Keurig - kcups - mild coffee I know I'm late to the game, but I finally bought a Keurig! There's a Keurig in the office at my new job, so I'd bought a kcup sampler to take in, and then thought, as I have kcups, why not buy my own machine? Then, it was on sale at the store & there was only one left, so that means I HAD to buy it, right? I've never been much of a coffee drinker. The problem is, I find most coffee way too strong and bitter. So I'm looking for something light. So far I've tried the Breakfast Blend and Donut Shop, and confess, I can't tell the difference between the two.... And I add a ton of cream & sugar, and use the travel cup setting hoping it weakens it more than the small cup. Any recommendations of a mild brew for my amateur palate? Any where's the best place to buy and get a deal, those pricey kcups? Thank you!

| I'm not a big coffee drinker either, but I love the flavored stuff from Starbucks. I got a Keurig and the only one I will drink is the Green Mountain Coffee caramel vanilla cream or French vanilla. I get them from Walmart (18 cups for 10.98). I only have to add 3 small spoonfuls of Splenda for it to be perfect. |

| I can't answer that yet cause I haven't bought one yet but I was just discussing this with the DH. I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Sh'e always looking for a new flavor to try. In researching these I found out Keurig didn't like it that people weren't buying their pods so when they came out with the newer 2.0 models it's designed to only use their little pods. If you try to use a pod by some other manufacturer it won't work in the machine. Someone found a way to bypass this, this is the video for anyone wanting to stop buying their pods.... Hacking a Keurig to use cheap coffee pods only requires scissors and tape | The Verge This is a generic cup to put your own coffee in so you can make it as weak or strong as you want. I'm not sure if you'll have to attach an old lid from a Keurig pod for it to work. Solofill Single Cup Reusable Coffee Filter : Target I'm thinking of getting the 145 model so I won't have this problem.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I love me some coffee . . but hate most of the single cup blends that we've tried so far. tried the same tow as you and hate both of them. They are mostly for my DH who likes his coffee much much stronger than I do so I am myself trying to find a nice, light blend that doesn't taste like ass not that I would know what ass taste like. Most of them taste like dirt and sadly I do know what that taste like. . LOL My thing is, they cost, wow talk about crazy!! I don't have the Keurig but my machine takes their cups. Maybe a verity pack would be better. I can try several blends and if I don't like it my husband will drink it. He's like that commercial . . " Hey lets get Mikey, he'll eat anything" If you find something keep us posted.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | You can get Kcups from Amazon and Costo for pretty cheap. Also, sometimes they have them on great sales at the grocery store. I don't know which version you have but if you brew a larger cup of coffee, it won't be as strong as the smaller cup because it will have more water. Some versions have a setting for adjusting the coffee strength. |

I bought this specific one, because I wanted to be able to fit & fill a travel cup to take to work, and I wanted the auto-off feature incase I forgot to turn it off before heading out the door. I wasn't bothered about having a huge water tank, as I would most likely do only one travel mug per day, but yet I wanted a tank so I don't have to put water in for every use. I didn't need the charcoal filter, as I have horrible well water, so will only put filtered water in it, never tap. So when I saw the machine that had all that I needed, on sale, and there was just one left on the shelf, I grabbed it!

| We like weaker coffee too. My husband makes a 10 ounce cup of coffee in his travel mug, then lifts the lid and leaving the kcup in the machine, he closes the lid and selects 6 ounces and runs it through the same kcup, making a 16 oz. Cup from one kcup. He has also cut the printing from a kcup for the 2.0 and placed it on other cups. He likes to grind his own coffee too. He found a reusable kcup at bed bath and beyond for the 2.0 so he can use his own blend. I have liked almost every flavor I have tried so far.

| Panera Bread light roast is the best light roast I've found. It's delicious! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ODC...278349-3541948

| My DH bought me the 2.0 for my birthday back in January. It's ok. He buys all of the different flavors so it depends on my mood. I usually get about 14 oz. out of one pod because I like weaker coffee. I use bigger cups set it on 10oz. sip that one down and then go for 4 more oz. Expensive so I kept my old coffee & maker just in case. For anyone considering buying one I'd wait until you catch a good sale! Nothing wrong with the good old coffee makers and I've thought about bringing mine back out already! At least when I'm ready for my 2nd cup it's there waiting on me. I've also noticed that my Keurig coffee is not as hot. Everything I've tried is strong except for the Carmel Vanilla.

| I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to strong coffee. I usually make a small cup from the keurig. Then I take the kpak out of the machine and run just hot water into the cup to dilute it. It comes out pretty good. |

| I've been buying Gevalia pods at the grocery store. They have different blends but Gevalia is known for being smooth and mild. I love it.

| I'm happily surprised there are so many that like the milder weaker coffee like me. I've been using a jumbo sized mug, and running it with the same k cup at the 8oz setting to get a big weak 16oz mug of coffee. It's perfect!

| Karan I forgot to talk to you about K cups when you were here I no longer use mine, so I have some you can have, some are flavored do you like the flavors. The K cup did not work for me, I like to keep topping my coffee off and since I add things like cinnamon a tad bit of stevia and some creamer if I did not get the right blend like a bit to much sweetener I could never just add a tad more coffee to my cup, or I found my self hanging around my kitchen waiting to finish the cup so I could head up to the office. As I am sitting here typing my coffee is getting cold and I still have 1/3 of a cup and want a tad more, so I will go downstairs and add a bit more coffee to my cup, I could not do that with the K cups and it drove me nuts so I threw in the towel put my $100.00 machine on the shelf and bought a new auto drip for $40.00 and much happier with my morning routine
