My insurance company denied his claim, which he made the minute he got home(!), for damages and stated he was the driver at fault for the collision. All he had to do was just wait for me to move on past as I was driving along slowly in the traffic lane, the front of my truck had just eased past his car( which didn't even have his back-up lights on as I started past him) by a foot or two when he suddenly shot out of his parking space into the side of my truck. There was nothing I could do to avoid the accident as his back-up lights weren't on and he wasn't moving when I began going by his parked car. He could have avoided it by just waiting for me to get past him. I wonder if those two were already arguing B4 the accident and he never even saw me as they were baited and revved up as soon as they got out of their car. I was so relieved when I got out to see that basically it was okay and that helped me stay in a better frame of mind when that woman began to immediately rail at me for hitting them! Then her husband joined in! I wonder if neither of those people just didn't know parking-lot traffic laws or they just automatically decided chewing me out for something he'd caused was the best course of action to take! SMH. Hope they don't try to sue me!
