| Capt Noonie Now you mention it, those are the things these guys do..the long sleeves I too wondered about! As well as the bandana, one of my guys had one of those solar powered wide brimmed hats with a fan in it. LOL! Thanks for the info on the cooling cloths, I had never heard of them. Hopefully tomorrow will be the last day I feel so bad and guilty about them, as the job should be finished, Yeh! But I just saw that the electric company have asked for less power usage tomorrow too, three days on a row so far! Ah well, we are getting kinda used to it by now. |

| Mrs Edwards I guess Buffalo isn't Long Island! 90 deg in the shade at 6 am is hard to take though in NC. Our dogs do not adapt well to hot and humid weather and the panting is very disturbing and sad. Again Good Luck and perhaps arm yourself with the good advice of Capt. Noonie, LOL! |

| Jeanie My oh my, what a frustrating story!!! If it weren't true it would be hilarious. You sure have been through the electronic mill and still have more to go through?! I admire your courage and perseverance and you deserve to come out on top. Like you I am totally confounded with all the modern electronic claptrap and must admit I usually get the help of the Geek Squad after days of trying to get things working. I badly need a new printer but so dread the pain I will have to go through to get it working. I have an IMac Mountain Lion and my hub has an older IMac with some other wild animal operating system. It seems that the modern printers may work with my Mac but not his??? What to do? Probably he will have to get a new Mac, what a pain all this is. As soon as you buy a computer it seems to be out of date already. At the moment we can print wirelessly from the two IMacs but not from the IPads . Technology does suck sometimes. Sigh!! Best of luck with your system, hang in there you are almost home, ha, ha. Pleasant dreams :-)) |

To make matters worse, my costly Mitsubishi TV with 18 speakers and 42 thousand color/tint adjustments right down to how much each of the colors of red, green, blue, yellow, magenta and cyan you want in each of the five colors adjustments it has in 5 different theater combination of settings of color, contrast, resolutions, etc. - that TV - has "handshake" issues with the blu-ray player! What does that mean? My TV doesn't always recognize the blu-ray is actually plugged into it when it's turned on! UGHHHHH!!! Woe is me - and you - and all of us either burning to death or freezing our tucuses off this summer or dealing with "new" electronic products of any kind!

| We had the cwazziest weather! The day b4 yesterday, it was 104 degrees, but we also had a thunder storm! I loved it, but the doggies were scared, the windows were rattling & so much wind & rain, looked like a mini hurricane. It was hot & wet outside, such a weird monsoon-y weather. DSCN2622.jpg Lookie, it's raining! Then, yesterday & today is SO freaking nice! Thank you Mother Nature for cooling us down.

| 93 yesterday, and today's high is supposed to be 88. I know it sounds crazy, but 93 feels so good after a month of 100-102.

| We're going up to 85 today, 90 degrees in a few days but for the time being the humidity has given us a break. It was 60 degrees this morning, cool and wonderful outside, but now the A-C just came on as the day begins heating up. Hellooooouuu there, Mother Nature - just a reminder - yesterday was the first day of Autumn!
