Well from watching the construction workers daily, there are several tricks. Wear long sleeves. I always thought that was bogus. How could wearing long sleeves make you cooler? But you get your skin out of the sun, and it has to be loose fitting. Also they wear a bandana or cloth that's wet under their hat or helmet. That's the big help there. Bigger the brim of the hat the better! Now there are these cooling cloths that when wet feel up to 20 degrees cooler than the air. I have seen them at Home Depot and Lowes. May be sold out by now since it's almost fall, but check your store if you plan on doing gardening or whatever if it's still hot.
