It's down the street from where we lived when I was a kid, so we know the area. It's just perfect.

| I have done some and I DO ENJOY it, I am about to take on 3 living room tables with very ornate carvings (not delicate) but ornate. They are stunning but need to be done over, any suggestions???

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I love wire brushes, I use different paint removers, some brush on, some spray on, but the wire brushes are great for getting nooks and crannies. I use flat scrapers for flat services and brushes for small or curved surfaces. You can buy them at Home depot. These small ones will work great for you, and you can rinse with mineral spirits until all residue is gone.

Everyone wants to move into the guest house. I was thinking it would make a perfect office for me. But if Max and Teddy got to hang out with Uni and Toto, I will reconsider.

Thanks Nancy, what do you find the easiest stripper to work with? This is a thin finish and I'm pretty sure 2 strips max will take most of it off. I'm so nervous....

| Senior Yorkie Talker | I have the IKEA light in both sizes I love them. The only thing I didn't like is the come in pieces you gotta put the whole light together . Awesome looking through.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Don't really know the brand names, I just get something at home depot, they all work pretty much the same. Don't get any on skin, that's the only bad thing that can happen, it's not like it will eat the wood, it just takes off polyurethane and stain, and usually you don't have to remove all the stain. If it's an old piece it may even have lacquer or vanish instead of polyurethane and they are even easier to remove. If it's really hot and dry, you can cover the object with plastic and check it in a few hours.

Meanwhile, OBSESSING over this light fixture on Joss & Main: https://www.jossandmain.com/Bright-%...90~E13904.html I would love this fixture ANYwhere, but would reallllly love it for my art area/studio!

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Ladies...a very sweet YT friend of mine gave me a really cool antique industrial pulley and I want to use it to hang a candle chandelier or lantern above our master tub. If anyone knows of or comes across a really cool candle chandelier that would look neat w/ a rope and pulley...let me know. The space is quite large and open, so something substantial would be awesome...something w/ a bit of rusticness, shabby chic, or industrial-ish...maybe?
