Sandy, I am very happy to hear the great news! Looking forward to photos of your completed kitchen . . . and to the wedding announcement. LOL Just teasing. I am glad you are enjoying so much happiness with someone special. |
Thank you all for cheering me on. Having a great guy by my side through the whole process has been wonderful. I could not have done it without him. Wedding, huh???? Silly girls. We are having way too much fun in honeymoon stage to do that. |

Great big British hugs from 'us over here' :) xxx |
Thank you Sally for sharing in my joy. I am truly blessed, and so grateful for all the good things that have come my way. This has been a wonderful year, and I am excited to see what 2016 brings too. Sally, I am so sorry about the loss of your father. Big hugs to you and your family. |
In case anyone is just DYING to clean their own grouts instead of hiring someone to do the grunt work, the best combo seems to be: Hydrogen peroxide + baking soda, leave for 30 min before scrubbing. Saw a comparison between different (non toxic) combos and this seemed to work best. I get to have ALL that fun this weekend... oh the joy...... (any feeling my sarcasm?....) LOL |
Please don't tell me you have white grout. LOL. Our old house had white tiles in the kitchen, tiny 4x4 tiles and white grout. OMG I hated that kitchen. Loved the layout but the white tiles and white grout omg. Thankfully this house we don't have little tiles. And our showers are solid surface so only the corners and edges are hard to get. The walls are all easy. |

The H2O2 and baking soda really worked well with little scrubbing. I sprinkled/brushed the baking soda into the grout limes then had the H2O2 in a spray bottle and sprayed the grout lines. Waited then scrubbed with a small brush. Thanks for the great tip. |

Forgot to add this for the brush... I used this drill/brush to clean the bathroom tiles as well. |
1 Attachment(s) Mom wanted the plants off the floor and she couldn't find anything she liked. So I made this from extra materials we had at work. Took a while but I think it came out pretty nicely. :D Attachment 409792 |
