Ha! Bring it! My prescription laughs in your prescription's face! |
Last time I had glasses, I think my site was -5.0/-5.5. I don't need reading glasses YET but as I get older, I will need them. But that comes with age so you can't really do anything about it. My doc said I probably won't need them any time SOON but we'll see. It literally took 5 min. Just don't watch any videos before you decide to get it. I think that's the only reason I freaked out a bit. LOL |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NiO639g4HY Every time I have an exam, I tell the doctor that I cannot do the glaucoma puff-of-air-in-the-eye test. We try and try. After numerous attempts with me jumping across the room, they give up or they fib and say they got it. :p |

You know whenever I have an eye exam and do the clicky flash dot test, they've always told me to click if I even THINK I see something. Funny thing is, I always have had floaters, so when I do that test I always think it's my eyes and not the test. And speaking of TV shows about eye stuff, does anyone remember the Family Guy episode when Stewie talks about the floaty things? How you always try to look at them but they float away just as you do. It annoyed the hell out of me when I was a kid. I didn't know what they were. I thought something was actually in my eye. |

I got Lasik 15 years ago, and it was life changing. Such freedom after wearing glasses and contacts since 4th grade, and a -5 prescription. Being able to see at a distance was so liberating, and I don't mind wearing reading glasses (minimal prescription, the drug store kind). |
Hey everybody, my kitchen that I expected to have done my October is almost done. It is amazing, the teak cabinets are so beautiful even though I have not picked out drawer pulls yet, the appliances are incredible, and the granite which 80% went in today is beautiful. I still have lots of my dishes and cookware stored in boxes in my living room, but so close to being finished, and have been able to use the kitchen as is for a while. Oh, and the relationship with my awesome contractor...... couldn't be better. So happy :) Now we are upgrading my patio and pool deck, so more fun ahead. Life is good. |
Can't wait to see the pics! |
