| I think it depends on the person and how they were brought up. I can tell you if my Grandmother was still alive she would be applaud if a lady was in a 2 piece bathing suit and she was pregnant! Come to think of it if she was alive in this day she would be applaud on so many things LOL. It isn't wrong or right if you think it is out of line.

| I'm interested in all these responses! I am pregnant now (shhhhh... still a secret for another week!) and will be going to Mexico for my brother's wedding in November. I haven't worn anything but a bikini to a beach since I was about 15!!! I'll be about 5 months along in November and have no idea how big or small I'll be at that point, but I'm toying with the idea of just wearing a bikini there too. That way, I won't have to buy a special maternity bathing suit, which I may not get another chance to wear (I'll be having this baby in March when the snow is still flying, and who knows about future babies!) I guess I'll just have to decide how comfortable I am at that point. My mom didn't get stretch marks in her pregnancies, and I didn't get stretch marks with growth spurts, so I have all my fingers and toes crossed that I've got my mom's good genes and I will feel more comfortable showing off my baby belly!

| Why is it wrong for a pregnant woman to wear a bikini? I don't get it... If you feel confident while pregnant, why not wear a bikini? There are tons of beautiful pregnant women, and I don't see any reason why it would be considered odd for them to wear a bikini like other women. I guess I'm a bit of a feminist and think that women are beautiful and shouldn't hide their bodies if they feel confident enough to rock it.
