Very odd topic - OIL PULLING??

This is so interesting! I am trying it in the morning. I will use Coconut oil and I will let everyone know how long I lasted

I tried it and didn't really notice much of anything, but I will do it for a few days just to see. I only lasted 10 mins though lol

20 minutes is a LONG time, right?? I ended up laying down on my bed with a pillow propping my neck up. I put an eye pillow over my eyes to help relax me. It helped, but it still felt like an hour.

I made it 20 minutes, but dang it was a long time!!! I did the same thing, laid down on the bed and watched Property Brothers for 20 minutes while I "swished oil". I think I used to much oil because it kept leaking out my mouth but my lips were very smooth this morning.

As soon as I find some top quality Sesame Oil I'm going to give it a try. From what I've read sesame oil is the best oil to use and the quality of the oil matters. I figure if I give it a try, might as well go "all out"

Did you swish way back in your throat and also roof of your mouth? I read to concentrate on those areas for sinus drainage.

I did the OPing while driving over to work last night ~ it was a 15 minute drive and I couldn't wait to spit

I read that too. I did the sesame one time and it was so so nasty

LOL I read that one of the benefits was smooth lips ~ I thought to myself...DUH

oh ~ and it leaks because your mouth gets more full as the saliva starts forming and foaming

LOL I had never in my life heard the term either!!

I'm on day 4 I think. My breath is fresher and my teeth and lips feel smoother. Sinuses were never horrible but I do feel them draining after OPing.

I'm going to try to reevaluate in a month. I'm hoping for a whiter smile as a minimum

Yes, but I'm so stuffed up from allergies right now, I didn't expect it to all go away anyway.

I have a tub of coconut oil in the bathroom (I guess I do use that as a beauty product more than for cooking). I scoop the oil out with my hands and put it in my mouth. Then I smear what's left on my hand into my cuticles. My hands are very very dry bc of the constant washing off grease from my hands, so my cuticles are always peeling and look gross. The CO has been helping a bit.

I do it the exact same way! My coco oil is also in the bathroom
