| OMG Think I'm getting a Migrane! Haven't had a migrane in years and years. All of a sudden my right side of my head at my temple all the way down through my head to the back of the right side of my neck hurts SO bad. I don't know what happened! Wish me luck. I usually end up barfing if I get one. I should probably get off the computer huh? LOL

| Do you have any peppermint smelling lotion or anything peppermint smelling you can sniff. If I smell it early enough...it sometimes stops my migraines!

| Oh no! I've had migraines since I was 16 years old. I am so sorry!! Keep cool, dark room, cool and damp wash cloth over your eyes might help (nothing really helps, but a little). Do you have any meds at all? I'm guessing not since it's been years. Some have relief from excedrin migraine - that like tic-tacs to me though. I have 4 different meds and sometime still have to go get a shot at the er clinic. If you get too bad, go get a shot. No need to keep suffering when those shots can help so quickly. Praying that nasty thing doesn't get too severe and you can feel better soon!

| I "feel your pain"....my brother suffered with monthly migranes from around age 4-age 16.....as he got older, they became less frequent, but he suddered something terrible, usually for 2-3 days....total quiet, total dark room, a/c set on 66, he vomited for a couple of days...horrible things those migranes....hope yours are nothing that severe and it will just pass quickly. |

| Well no migrane (no barfing) but still got a terrible pain, same place. Didn't sleep well last night. Still gotta go to work in a bit, someone needs to pick up their bike today and I haven't done the repairs yet. =/ I took two otc excedrin migrane pills and didn't do a lick of good. Wonder if this has something to do with the neck/shoulder pain I got (and never went away) a few days ago from the two dogs making me sleep in uncomfortable positions all night. Pinched nerve? Would that cause headaches?

| Priscilla, if you haven't recovered yet, I recommend an immediate repeat vacation.

| It still hurts! It's been since Sunday. I'm really thinking now it's either a pinched nerve, a blood clot, or a tumor. It's a constant pain from my neck thru the base of my skull up to the temple, right side only. And then I get occasional surprise stabbing pain that doesn't come when I'm doing something in particular, it just happens. Next vacay could be a one or two days off for bf's bday. Then nothing until after Summer, where it's work related getaway in Vegas for Interbike. Three days of walking a huge convention center, and some buffets inbetween.

| Wonder if you have a neck strain/sprain? Do you work bent over your desk or a computer a good bit - or read nonstop for hours or work with your arms up a lot, causing you to hyperextend your neck a lot? Those kinds of repetitive things can strain the neck muscles and create that kind of pain radiating into the head and cause an allover headache. Why don't you see an orthopedist just to see? Sometimes there is a bit of a subluxation of one or more of the cervical vertebrae from birth and with age it begins to sublux a bit more and more and then certain things you do daily in life hurt it.

| I'm pretty sure it was bc the dogs were hogging the bed and I didn't want to disturb them. About a week ago they were both sleeping perpendicular to me and all stretched out, one at my midsection, one at my feet. I woke up with a stiff neck and shoulders and then a few days after that the real pain started. I don't have medical insurance bc I'm self employed, so if I go to a chiropractor or something I'd just have to pay for the session. If I go to a regular Dr they will just give me some painkillers; basically just putting a band aid on it. Haven't had a good nights sleep in a week. No wonder I'm moody. And on top of it all, when it first started, I got my monthly curse and had cramps almost the worst I've ever had. Wonder if that had something to do with it too.

| Probably is related. You need a hot tub and sauna installed at the store. Sorry you are still in such pain. Pinched nerves can take awhile to heal. I had one in my arm and had severe pain and numbness all the way through my pinky finger. That was caused by sleeping on my arm wrong because the doggies were hogging the bed. The things we do for them!
