Having a hard time getting my Christmas decorations up? I'm really trying, but our weather just changed and got a little colder and now my back is just aching (need back surgery and refusing because I have to focus on Sam right now, so lots of pain meds

....).... So between that and Sam and Kalisi running off with my decorations

, its hard to get a good rhythm going lol. I'm just wondering if anyone else is behind like me

I am slacking to, I got a tree last Friday and last night finally put lights on it but that is all and we got new outside lights and put up half of them.
I figure I will try to get the tree done by end of the weekend and our family pictures taken Saturday night.

I started out with a bang but have kind of slowed myself!!! I'm waiting until 12-1-12 now I think before I do much more. Just going to relax while I can. Don't push it if you don't feel like it! Stretch out on the couch when you can - rest that back.

So glad to hear its not just me! Lol took me an hour last night just to put the tree together... Then 30 minutes to put the lights on it, with Kalisi grabbing an end and taking off and Sam un wrapping them smh... Then I hung 3 lol yes 3 ornaments and gave up and laid down

I like your plan! I think I may wait till 12-1-12. Yes I am actually laying down flat right now, had a doctor appt this morning and they confirmed what we suspected... So they have me resting as much as I can before we do some injections directly in the disc's in my back, they are hoping this will get me through the holidays! Oh well I AM STILL MERRY

I too started out with a bang, but have slacked off to the point stuff is sitting on the table. Presents need to be wrapped, just can't get motivated.

Presents? How bout I haven't even started lol... But I was out looking for Sam's power wheel yesterday! But that's as far as I've gotten....

Not this year. Shopping almost done, nothing wrapped yet though! Tree is up and decorated, now that is funny because 90% of my ornaments are hung in the first 2 feet of the tree since my 1 & 3 year old nephews hung them all!

Soooo cute! Hubby hung the outside lights already too. We are WAY ahead! For the first time in my whole life I think, we are not financially strapped and Im so excited to give gifts this year and enjoy the spirit of the WHOLE season! My mom is coming and my little brother is coming and I want this to be the best Christmas ever for them. Its the first Christmas since my grandmother passed away too. I'm really excited for this season with my nephews, my family, my HUSBAND (first married Christmas too!)!!

! Sorry to hear about your grandmother. But I am glad that you will have all your family together for Christmas. I love this time of the year and this year Samuel is actually more "aware" of what's going on so I want everything to be super fun for him, we all do. My 16 y/o son volunteered to hang the lights outside

! He said and I quote "we are older but Sam is a baby and we need to make it special for him"

. So I'm trying to get motivated lol... My theme this year is silver and gold or at least inside lol....

Na, unfortunately ...... I had some done about 4 months ago and several sets before that. But this time he said he wants to go directly into and around the two , wait two weeks do a follow up then go back in and do the joints ugh

! I just hate it!

Have you had them before? Did they help if you have?

I get 5 to 6 in my knee every couple of months, I was suppose to get them in my neck but I chickened out I HATE needles and my knee Dr knows just act like you are going towards me with the needle I pass out and give me all the shots when I am out. But they help tons in my knee and have helped me put off surgery again.

Im much worse off than you I still have halloween stuff out. Im working a new job and this week I went into My normal hours 7 am to 1 pm so Ill get the Christmas stuff out later this week or weekend. Im not really in the mood for Christmas this year anyway.

Well that gives me some hope, because none of the others have helped much

. But we are all hoping it will give me some relief this time.. It's getting pretty bad but at least I don't have to see the needle coming lol they put me under for these and this time since they will be in the actual disc's and spine I am sooooo grateful lol or else yeah I'd be like you passed out from sheer terror. I'm glad yours are helping you and that you've been able to avoid another surgery!

Oh no, it's actually funny you said that, I just took the inside Halloween stuff down yesterday.. Just small things here and there. Guess where they are now? On the couch with the Christmas decorations smh.... I'm sorry York not in the mood this year.... But I do understand what you mean... I don't know why but the days are going by so fast! I guess because I am so busy at work! I do have all my Christmas shopping done
