| My Vintage Kitchen collections I thought I would share my passion for vintage kitchen things..I have a collection of appliances..linens..glassware etc..I actually use all of my kitchen appliances including a 1940's stove which was the stove my MIL started housekeeping with. We have used it for over 30 years ourselves and "knock wood" we have never had to replace an oven element or cook top element I would love to see what everyone else collects. A lot of things in my collection belonged to my Grandmother and DH grandmother. The highchair was DH when he was a baby and there is a frame in one of the pictures with a recipe in his Grandmothers handwriting and a receipt from the grocers in the 1930's which also belonged to his Grandmother.100_3606.JPG 100_3607.JPG 100_3608.JPG 100_3609.JPG

| Very cute Michelle! I love your kitchen I own an old (1912) house so I am starting to collect old furniture. It's a lot of fun using something that has history.

| Thanks Kathy!! I have been collecting for about 15 years. We also have DH Grandmother's wood cook stove which looks like brand new and her ringer washer. It is stored in the old farmhouse because I don't have room for it in our house. I love all my things, but the stuff that we actually remember our Grandparents using when we were children, hold a special place in our hearts.

Here is our 'antique' 100 years old this year! Please excuse the not-so-good pictures... I was taking pictures of the arbor, not the house... These are just the most recent I have of the house. Since then, we put the white trim back up around the door (doors are new).

| I collected kitchen vintage in the 90's and practically turned my kitchen into a farmhouse 30's/40's kitchen and loved it so much. The hunting for and finding the pieces I wanted was such fun I will never forget it. I LOVED my kitchen - it was just like my grandmother's and mother's when I was very young. The cookie jar in my kitchen actually is a family vintage piece from 1948, I think it was. I have some of my mother's actual cooking utensils, silver and dishware, too. I would simply be in heaven in your kitchen, too. Love to look closely at every single thing you've got in those pictures. Wow. Believe it or not, about 2 or 3 years ago I went rather minimalist in my kitchen and moved many of my vintage pieces on to others but there are times I long for that kitchen again(it was sooo homey), though there was so much dusting to do. I also had a collection of very old tins that I still have stored away in one of the cabinets. And I still have the family cookie jar and all of my mom's things. Enjoy your wonderful hobby and kitchen.

| Oh my gosh I love all your stuff. I used to collect these type of things as well. I no longer do it. At the time with a lot of my stuff we were still Military I got tired of moving the stuff all the time. So I had a BIG YARD sale and sold just about every thing. Now that hubby is retired from the Army, I now long to have all my stuff back. I only collect Yorkie items now. I think I have a fortune tied up in that stuff. LOL
