Hi how are u and peanut? hope everything is good and yeah i always think about it and i am scare to take more than one dog out at the time, cuz of this, it sux and they are for sure not my friends at all

When the dog broke skin, was you physician aware? Animal control? If not, why not?

No vet records. How did you know at the time that the dog wasn't rabid? The dog should have been quarantined at the least and possibly euthanized for testing. Doesn't matter the breed. When they break skin, which is almost always the fault of the owner, then the law should take over for your safety.

To be honest with you, i did it for them, as a friend, now after all I have seen i feel bad and responsable too if something happens to anyone, i should have call it in, but now is too late after all this time it will be my word against them, i tried to talk to them, told them to keeo him on the leash all the time, but they just dont listen, i know i was wrong

after i saw the dog jumping that lady, i never saw anything like that again, as i said i really dont hang out with them a lot, i really hope that the dog will behave and nothing else will happen, so far they said that he is super friendly, with everyone especially kids.......whatever, i never would have him in my house with my dogs, not just him but any other big dog that i dont know and that was from the begginig. I truly loved this people and sometimes love just makes you blind, not an excuse, but the truth, because if that was anyone else dog i will definitely have done something, I just hope for the best now, i dont see what else can i do.

This is a tuff situation and tuff one to comment on. I am very sorry that you were hurt by this dog. I have been around pits all my whole life, I have never owned one but family members have. I dont think that I myself would ever take a pit into my home in a re homing situation. Just because you never know what their triggers are. You really can not know for sure how the animal will react in certain situations.

You do have to keep in mind... even though your injuries where caused by the animal it was not his fault. With the proper training he would not have done so.

We are doing great! How have you been doing? Hows your babies? I am so thankful they were not in the mix of this. How is your eye? I would def report that dog- you could be saving another.

Your husband is a witness...? Did you go to the Dr about your eye? Do you have any records on that side? I would at least call and try to report and see what they say, the fact of the matter is THEY have a pit, so I don't really think the city wouldn't believe you.
