| Thor's Human Donating Member | I saw these really cool... icicles, I guess? They were really long, and the light started at one end and then moved to the other. They looked like lightning. Get those!

| I think the white lights look more "classy" but I prefer colored. Usually I get one of each - my dad does colored and my mom does white lights, LOL.

| Growing up we had the colored lights. The ones in the huge bulbs and non LED. Then when we got our own house, we got a prelit tree, so obviously those have white (well when we bought it, there was only white). Someone in the neighborhood put up the old school colored lights on the outside, and now I am liking how that looks again. It makes the house look like a gingerbread house. Very cute. I agree colored lights are more kitchy (sp?) and vintage (as long as they are not colored LEDs) and white is more classy.

| I've seen those on bushes outside-they are awesome! It reminds me of fireworks, the ones that stream down.

| I love both, but I think it mostly depends on what type of ornaments you have. If you go with eclectic, colorful, or playful ornaments, the white lights will highlight them (colored lights might make them look too chaotic or cheapen them). If however, you do more traditional ornaments (think red balls, gold bells, etc.) or a limited color theme (white and gold, all red, etc.) then the colored lights will definitely add to those. OR...just mix it all up and have fun!! It's a Christmas tree, and will be uniquely yours either way.

| I always use white but my neighbors have a tree that changes from white to colored depending on when you drive by it. Maybe it's fiberglass?? I'm not sure, but that would def be a commpromise! |
