I so love the look of white lights and last year I bought a fake tree with the lights already on them so my new GF wouldn't try to convince me to use colored lights

White lights are my favorite, although I do like color-coordinated trees with matching lights. I have done red/gold, blue/silver, red/silver, burgundy/gold - you get the picture. I put up my "fancy" mom tree in the living room and then the sentimental ornament tree "family" tree in the family room. Everyone is happy that way. My tree this year is an Ohio State tree, funky but we're fans and I like it.

AHHH I still can't decide. I guess neither of us want to give up on our traditions. We will have to figure it out and make a tradition of our own... ;-)
