BE GONE WITH YOUR STUPID TREE AND ALL YOUR PRETTY LIGHTS THAT CAUSE MY LITTLE SISTER TEAGAN TO STEAL MY COUCH SO SHE CAN SIT AND STARE AT WHILE DRINKING HER MILK!!!!!!!! :p Poor Guinney is soooo NOT happy about being kicked off his couch but he puts up with it since it is Teagan... now if it was Stella there would be a fight!!! |
My fellow people purchased a Santa of worth AED300. Their children are very happy by the music and dance of that Santa :) |

I am winding down just gotta make cookies and fudge. I have been putting on the christmas music to get me into the spirit. I may have to buy a couple of nutcrackers after christmas to add to my collection. Pier one always has the neatest christmas decor and they have these really neat nutcrackers. I already bought a few other things for next christmas. This reindeer and elf. I love to get them even if I dont get to use them this year. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year |

Jeanie how are you doing with Xmas prep??:D:D I did get my baking done! ha. But still two dogs to wash and groom:eek: And present wrapping I thought hubby was doing it -- he thought I was doing it Got to go to liquor store too! That will be a treat ...,<<not likely>> Talk soonish! |
Wow the liquor store was not mobbed with folks. What a pleasant surprise. My two blackies are being obnoxious brats! Both are counter surfing or trying to and Magics nose can with-in a hairsbreadth of my pound cakes cooling on the counter! They were very bold as we were both in the kitchen too! Razzle is being good just cause he is in his crate - on a time out;) He over-tipped the recycle bin:p Now onto in a few minutes the *big wash* after lunch. Its grey damp and a miserable looking day out. But its warm n festive inside:-) |
Having a lazy online Xmas Eve morning before we head over later in the afternoon to hubby's parents' house with the doggies. Not to brag or anything, but fine, I'll brag....it's going to be 63 degrees here today - YAY - my favorite weather!!! And totally sunny. Love it. |

**Sniff sniff** Well all I can say is - Send some sunshine our way!! |
The stuffing, the corn are made, cooling, and the cranberry sauce is already in the serving dish in the fridge. House smells wonderful. Pies(bought from the bakery) and egg nog waiting in the fridge. |

Wowee I think definitely you are ahead of me! I got the presents wrapped except hubby's, Magic is prepped for a bath. Still cleaning to do:( My sis has drank almost all the eggnog I bought yesterday :) Now tell me *the corn are made** what dish is this? And what pies do you serve? We usually do a Xmas pudding but this year I was too lazy to make one, so we just are having ginger pound cake with a fruit sauce and a chocolate sauce. |
One big one washed - and is now in his *sauna* drying something I heard from the Russian Groomers last National. After bath, cover crate completely with blankets - let your dog steam almost dry. Then the undercoat comes out well, and brushing is a breeze, a almost quick blow dry to shape and to dry pawpads, ears, loins/groins etc. And voila no undercoat rake needed:D I am a tad dubious, but we shall see. But having him trimmed down sure does make bath time much faster! I am happy either way. |
The prime rib is in the oven cooking making our house smell delishes. I made the peanut butter pie and sugar cookies yesterday. Ive got my Santa shirt, santa hat and red boots with white fluffy toppers on so I all festive. The yorkies have their cute out fits on. I found Jewels this cute little ginger bread outfit with a candy cane skirt at build a bear yesterday and it is so cute on her. We are just relaxing while our food is cooking. Later on we are going to go out in the car and get hot chocolates and look at Christmas lights. Just having My Husband home on christmas eve makes it perfect to me. Enjoying that family time. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas |

OOh I love Prime Rib - but hubby doesn't - he likes the sirloin tip roast better. Your dinner does sound delish! We go to our good friends' place tonight, then Xmas day at our home. I don't have cute costumes for my dogs, but I do have a Rhinestone halter for Razzle, a beautifull cut glass collar for Magic in blue, and they all have their jingly bells collars! I am waiting for the next big show, to purchase a sparkly collar for Dara, she will be better grown by then, and hopefully I will get the Red Rhinestones for her:D I know now to immediately go to that vendor when I arrive - I went on the second day of the show, and she was sold out of most of her crystals:( I am still searching for my dressy dresses that I took to the National with me, have no idea other than they came back with us, hubby unloads the car. So shortly I will search for them. |

Christmas eve was just perfect! We started the day by going to Sams Club for our Prime Rib. I found this beautiful blue crystal pandora type bracelet in the Jewelry dept and My Husband bought it and a pearl necklace for Christmas for me. He had already bought some things I ordered from ebay so I wasnt expecting that. We also bought a waffle iron so we can have waffles christmas morning. We had lunch and cooked our prime rib. Then me and my Husband went out on a Romantic ride in the car to look at christmas lights while we drank wine and eggnog. We then came home and ate prime rib. We are opening presents today then going to his aunts for his familys christmas. Happy Holidays everyone |
Our Christmas Eve was fun....we took all the doggies over to hubby's parents around 2pm and just munched on apps and drank some champagne and chatted. We ate a fabulous dinner around 5pm. When it got dark around 6pm, we hopped on the golf cart (they live on a course) and we rode around the course so we could see everyone's decorations/lights - very pretty! Then we did presents, which was perfect. Got home around 9:30pm. :) |
I'm glad you two had a great Xmas eve. Ours was good too. Nice evening beautifull fire - and the Xmas lights were so pretty! |
Christmas day was fun Me and My daughter were dressed as elves, First we unwrapped presents at our house and then we made home made waffles. Then we went to My aunt in laws house and had dinner and unwrapped presents and did the white elephant exchange. It was fun seeing family and spending time with them. His Mom was there but his brothers werent so unfortunately we missed seeing them. Then we came home and His mom came over and gave My Daughter her gift. My Daughter had a really good christmas and thats whats Important to Us, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas |
Just ordered a Christmas Pudding from England to serve for a little Christmas In July todo. Any ideas what I can buy at the local grocery to serve with it? Doesn't it need a sauce or side or something? :xmastree1: :flag: :happyboun :bananna: |
Went back to Amazon and ordered some clotted cream to serve with the Christmas pudding, which shipped today from UK. Good start for Christmas in July. :santa: :flag: |
