| I personally know Oliver North and Dan Lauria who played the Dad on the Wonder years from my time in the Marine Corps. Have met many Jazz artists such as Dave Koz, Richard Elliot, Peter White, Mindy Abair, Jeffrey Osborn, as well as many Chicago sports stars from the Bulls and Sox. |

| chattiesmom, you crack me up. I've only met one, but it was the perfect one for me! Aaron Lewis of Staind. ex-dh & I went to his concert & as we were leaving people were waiting outside of his bus. I asked if we could wait, since it was late, & dh said no. Then I look over & see his shiny bald head and barely got the words out that there he was. I was soooo shy, so my dh grabbed me by the shoulders & weaved me thru the crowd, stopping about 2 inches from his face. I literally stumbled over my words asking him to sign my shirt. Then he reached out & hugged me! Anyone that knows me personally knows he's my all time fave artist. Also, not me, but my Dad saw a celeb from a famous T.V. show from way back when, though I can't remember his name, he walked by him twice (shook hands once), in 2 diff airports in 2 parts of the country. I think that's kinda weird.

| I ran into Taylor Dayne in a club in Manhattan years ago. Literally, ran into her and almost knocked her over trying to meet my friend at the main door. She screamed "you B%&ch" and walked off I also hung out with the lead singer of 4 Non Blondes several times.

| In my horsey world, this so totally counts! Ummm, as for other celebs, you gotta get out of Kansas to meet any! Martina McBride just stopped here in our little town on her train tour promoting her new album. Love Her! When I was in Tennessee, I met several country music singers, but that was a Looooog time ago. My daughters recently won back stage passes to meet Blake Shelton. They were in heaven!

| I have met Charo - have my pic with her and a signed CD of her playing the classical guitar. Met Acker Bilk in England. Margaret Thatcher - even spoke at the same conference. John Selwyn Gummer. Last year spent several evenings on a cruise with Geoff and Lorie Bodine (they have a home near us and Geoff has a honda dealership here). Met Jeb and George Bush (my citizenship booklet was signed by both of them)

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I met Fabio at a Sam's Cub where he was modeling a line of coats. I had my picture taken with him. I have it somewhere. I had taken my parents there to shop and there he was. It's kind of funny because Nikki's name from the rescue was Fabio before Carol changed it.

| Do Romance authors count? If so, I have met Susan Wiggs and Barbara Samuel. Have had lunch with Susan and spent a pleasant afternoon with Barbara when she visited Melbourne for a writers conference.

| I met James Garner in a movie theater in NY. He was sitting in the row in front of us when his movie Up Periscope came out. I met Chico Resch (the NJ Devils announcer but I guess this is only special if you are a NJ Devils fan like I am) in an airport one night-we were delayed and sat and talked hockey for a long time-this was at a time when my son was playing at college. I got close enough to Jimmy Buffett to kiss him and almost peed in my flip flops and have passed Mike Utley a member of his band on the street. Since we live at the Jersey Shore (no I'm not Snookie) my daughter has run into Bruce Springsteen in Long Branch. My niece is friends with Ashley Tisdale, and my sister has met Donovan.

| I have encountered and met quite a few while in school in Malibu, living in Chicago, having friends in bands, and working for a MLB club. Didn't talk to too many unless there was a reason, mainly work related. It's fun to see what they look like in person. Strangest and most disappointing: Matthew Broderick. Ferris Bueller is very soft spoken and has a cold, limp handshake Maybe he was saving his strength for the stage since he was performing that week. Biggest Presence: Donald Trump and Gov. Jesse Ventura Shortest: Bono, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone Favorites: Gregory Hines (RIP) and Mikhail Baryshnikov Funniest: Walked into the fake snow on the outdoor set of "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles." Ducked into an alley, and there were John Candy (RIP) and Steve Martin standing alone. I talked to them for a bit. Candy was incredibly gracious. The only famous females I recall seeing up close are Olivia Newton John and Cher, and Trudy from the "Facts of Life" was a fellow student at my school, lol.

| Another surprisingly small actor: Kiefer Sutherland Most drool worthy: In his younger day, Mark Grace, former first baseman for the Cubs and Diamondbacks.

| Wait, how could I forget Madonna? She worked out with a trainer every morning in front of my dorm. This was when she was married to Sean Penn, who sat in the booth behind us once a restaurant. Little, little people.
