Celebs You've Met or Encountered 4 Attachment(s) For some reason, I've met a lot of celebs... most of the time it's not on purpose, LOL, but out of boredom, was wondering if anyone else met some celebrities or encountered them. Umm... let's see. Well, first, all the Backstreet Boys, duh. :p We became friends with a few of the 'boys' for a while but I have lost touch in the last 2 years. The Full House peeps.. I have now met Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and *gushes* John Stamos!! Bob was through my uncle, who is friends with him, and John we went and saw his play on Broadway. Dave performed for my little brothers foundation comedy night last year. Talked to Bob and Dave a lot, John was a "quickie" :p but the best. ;) Pink! Totally unexpected. I had no idea she was even gonna be in the city and we were in NYC and she got out of her van (I guess she was going to TRL) and got a pic with her. She's always been one of my fav singers, she was also very kind and funny. Rob Schneider.. I did not officially meet him, but saw him about 10 feet away. He got mobbed in Planet Hollywood and I did not want to contribute to the crowd but it was cool seeing him so close. A bunch of baseball dudes.. my uncle played on the Yankees in 2000 so any one on the Yanks back then, the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, etc. I was too young to really appreciate who I was meeting when he played ball (starting in '93 lol). Ummm ... wow, I am almost embarrassed to admit this, but Aaron Carter, LOL. He was traveling w/ his bro, hence why we got to hang out with him. I met Danny Gokey last year, he was a sweetheart. A couple other comedians that aren't like "big name" yet like Frank Nicotero is a good friend now, he did Comedy Central's Street Smarts and he's on every day on Yahoo's Primetime in No Time. A couple other guys in bands I couldn't even tell you the name of? One was Cartel... I think, but I was there with a friend and have no idea of any of their music. Lol, that's all I can think of. Lemme see if I can gather a few pics... |

I met Michael Douglas and Tobey Macquire. They filmed a movie a block from the house I grew up in. A few Pittsburgh Steelers. That's all I can think of right now. |
I'm so oblivious to celebrities, I wouldn't know one if they ran into me on the street. One of the redskins was my next door neighbor for awhile. That's about as close as I can get. lol |
I am so jealous you met pink she is my favorite singer! My grandpa was an executive of a non profit organization called the Air Force Sergeants Association and my mom also worked there and they had a convention every year and had a famous performer preform every year I meet a different one every year but honestly could not tell you the ones from when I was little I wish I had a scanner to scan the pictures if I could find them lol. I meet Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Greenwood, Sawyer Brown, Neal McCoy, and Lori Morgan are some of the ones I can remember. Now I'm gonna be searching tomorrow for my pictures in the mess of the upstairs extra room lol. |
I guess the biggest stars I have met were Yorkies -Multiple Group Winning/BISS CH Stringer's Somethings Gotta Give, his owner Anna Stringer and handler Vicky Meadows. My oldest son, however, works as a medic for the film industry and has met many top stars including Jason Bateman Ryan Reynolds The cast of Single Ladies (vh1) Queen Latifah Director Andy Fickman Billy Crystal Bette Midler Marisa Tomei Bailee Madison |
I thought we did this already, didn't we Brit? |
This is embarrassing to admit but I used to date one of the cast of the original Beverly Hills 90210 and it was in the height of the show! Back then it was pretty cool though! Will leave everyone guessing as to it was. Because of that I had the chance to hang with some pretty cool celebs! We were having lunch one day in a cafe and a bunch of screaming girls came up to the table and wanted our autographs which to me was pretty funny since I was a nobody!!! Have never understood the screaming fans thing or the autograph thing! It's a freaking signature! I think a few of our photos ended up in a tabloid as well! |
I met a few when I was a kid, one was the guy that played the Hulk ummm don't even remember his name. Some one else at the same time I can't remember. LOL Saw Bruce Willis in Tokyo but didn't meet him and there was a big crowd. I usually don't like to get in the crowd so saw him from across the street. My favorite person ever John Travolta and was in heaven when he lived literally just down the street from my father in Fla near Daytona. We had to drive by his house every time we went to dad's. I never met him though even as close as he was and was crushed when his neighbors complained about his plane and he moved away. BUT I was tickled that he moved to Ocala where I used to live and still go on occasion. I know lame but it's all I got. ;) :D |
I was in an elevator with George Strait. My daughter and her friend met the Jonas Brothers while they were shopping at Dick's. Walter Payton......:( I will think about it more because I know there were others. |
I don't know if this counts or not but Roy Rogers horse, Trigger, stepped on my sister's foot and I was there. :D |

With me, it's just always cool because it's like you grow up with certain people, even if it's just watching them on TV or whatnot, so it's kind of cool to actually meet a person you like or admire. Autographs I have never been into however... I'd rather have a picture! :p Quote:
