Thank you all for your suggestions. I feel so bad for those of you who deal with this type thing on a regular basis. Sheesh! I honestly don't see how you do it.

Another girl at school is pregnant and I met her in the hall today and she was on her way to take an antacid pill. She was having the heartburn AND reflux up her neck. I am at least thankful I am not dealing with both, yet anyway.

I slept like a baby last night with no heartburn and no burning today.

Yes that is the image I had in my head as I typed and giggled.


On a more sympathetic note, I know how you are feeling and remember it well.

Having heartburn again tonight. Ate pizza shame on me.

My issue now is i'm a horrible mommy. i eat like crap all the time. frozen pizza and fast foods and crap that's fast and easy since i'm busy and too tired to cook. i HAVE to get more ambition to get some veggies and fruits in my diet. i hate buying fresh produce because it spoils long before we eat it. going to the store tomorrow with a goal of getting some fruit and veggies back in my regular diet and some REAL meats and not all this processed crap all the time.

It's your hormones that do that, most pregnant women grow long luxurious hair, but it returns to its normal thickness after pregnancy. The only way vitamins would help is if you were woefully lacking in vitamins before pregnancy.

Don't beat yourself up over it. I'm not pregnant...but I'm trying to lose weight and restraint is hard...I can't imagine how much harder it is with pregnancy hormones! I know that they don't TASTE the greatest...but there are a lot of frozen veggie steamer bags that come with potatoes or come in cheese sauce which you can just pop in the microwave for five minutes and the cheese will make them taste better I love pizza too...there are a lot of healthy personal sized frozen pizzas at the grocery store too...not all of them taste that bad and the brand Amy's has organic, vegetarian, and vegan pizzas You can also buy the weight watchers mini desserts...they come with two servings and I LOVE THEM and even my boyfriend likes them too! They have chocolate eclairs, key lime pie, cookie dough sundae....etc. I'm a college student so almost everything I eat is frozen b/c I'm too lazy to make myself food.

My heartburn is KILLING tonight. I think i'm going to die really. My loving DH HERO came to the rescue with some tums. I'm going to call tomorrow and ask about Zantac per day. this is BAD BAD BAD

Luckily, I am not having it everyday. I felt it coming on earlier this evening and took one. I was fine yesterday and didn't need a thing. I hope you are able to get Zantac cleared and find some relief with it. It sure has helped me.

Sorry I am just seeing this. It is 150.

i got approval from the Dr's nurse for zantac 150 today and so far no heartburn YAY
