| I'm on the oldies and classics kick myself. For some reason, I am watching a lot of the 50's B&W Sci-Fi films this summer as Direct TV has them on and enjoying the heck out of them. Never realized how funny - and really good one or two of them were. "The Thing From Another World" (Howard Hawkes) has great dialogue and a lot of suspense without gore. Good film! Last summer I was into the movies on Lifetime Movie Network. Love Turner Classic Movies. Many of today's movies are so full of bad behavior and language, they are hard to watch, so I've not tried Netflix yet.

| For those that haven't seen anything "good" on streaming, you should check again. They have added a ton of stuff that wasn't on there even a month ago, esp. lot's of T.V. shows. I've even added a lot of Dragnet! I was pretty mad at first when they started changing things--they added all 4 seasons of the Tudors (my fave ever) but they didn't add 1-2 episodes per season! Each DVD has about 3 episodes & you would've had to order two DVD's to make up the loss! Glad they fixed that!

| I had it for a short time on my IPAD and ended up canceling it- I didn't think it was worth the extra money every month. I have cable with tons of channels and DVR. So I can almost always find a show to watch or watch something I DVR'ed. I sometimes rent movies from the on demand channel and they are only a couple of dollars. I suppose it would be worth it if I didn't have cable.

| That's me, Armani, I have Direct TV and so many channels and a DVR and I always have a long, long list of things to watch and more am recording so no real need for Netflix. And there's all the sports we watch - our family are sports nuts from generations. Plus, most of the channels I get they bleep out the bad language and it saves my delicate little lady ears . And then there is all the streaming TV and movies and audio books we can get online. So far, I haven't really needed anything like Netflix. But for those that use it, that price increase is really hefty.

| I have the same plan and the price for it is going to increase 60% starting in January, if I understand correctly.

| If I understand correctly, each service: discs in the mail OR online streaming is $7.99 each instead of having both for $9.99. If you want both, you will pay $15.98. However, you can choose to only keep one option for $7.99. We are planning to cancel. I get frustrated that so many selections are available DVD only. Just the other day my dh watched a movie and wanted me to watch it. When we searched for it, it was available DVD only now. ??? My understanding is Netflix is trying to persuade more users to use the streaming option instead of DVDs. Why isn't everyhting available via streaming is my question. Most of the movies on netflix are older and we still rent from RedBox occasionally if we have missed one in the theater. |

| We just started with Netflix about a month ago. I really love the streaming because I've been wanting to see a few tv shows from the very beginning. I watch them at home and on my phone. Loving "Bones" right now! BUT I will probably cancel my dvd side of the plan. There are very few movies that are available through Netflix that aren't available through Redbox. I hate that I have to make that choice though because when I want to find an older movie, Netflix is pretty much the only option. I just don't think $16 a month is worth it.

| I wonder if it would be beneficial for all of us to let Netflix know just how many customers they will lose when they increase the price. I'm sure if it's enough of us, they'll reconsider.

| I cancelled my Netflix a while back. The biggest selling point for me was the online streaming, but back when I had it, all the stuff that you could stream was old as the hills and / or crap. I forget to mail the movies back also, so that's no good for me. I'd rather just rent a movie for $1 / night from the redbox / Blockbuster Express machines. Well, I'd honestly rather to go the real movie rental places, but all our local ones were closed down. I look for all of them to soon enough.

| We do Blockbuster Online. We get 3 movies sent at a time. It's right at $20 dollars a month. The good thing is that we can turn them in to the store and it shows that return immediately so the next movies in our queue are sent right away. It works out that our movies are less than a dollar each. We don't use the feature, but you can also get games and blu-ray with the same package at no extra charge.
