| ![]() I TOTALLY BELIEVE!! Back in the 60s there was a small child that was accidently shot in the driveway of our house, he died. We have had several things happen at our house during our 24 yrs. there. One night my DH and I were in the kitchen, he was standing over by the stove looking at something, I was across the room watching TV. I heard him say, "what you want?" I said, "what you mean?" he said, "you pulled my shirt in the back" I told him I did not, I'm way over here... ![]() Another time my DD and I were the only ones at the house, I in the bathroom, her at the other end of the house, I could hear her saying to me "hey, hey, hey" and she was hearing the same thing. I asked her what you need, she said nothing, what you need. She told me what she had heard. Really creepy!!!

| ![]() Oh I believe. The legions I grew up with was if a baby was born with a veil over their face they could see sin to the future. My mother was a seer.. She had many dreams come true.. Really scary!! Two ghost stories... My parents rented a house when we moved back to her hometown. There was one room that I could not go into, I really can't explain but it was impossible for me to go in. I got in trouble with my mom for that. We found out when we were moving out that a man killed himself in that room. When my father died, I went to lay on my bed. I felt someone set on the bed behind me, I thought it was my mom. After a while I rolled over to talk to her. No one was there, but the bed looked like someone was sitting there. I have many more, used to really scare me. Most are harmless Good luck

| ![]() My son works at the YMCA and they just built a new one about a mile away from his and there is an old, old cemetery that the new YMCA was built around. Well anyway, he was talking to the night janitor and he has had some strange things happen at night. The gym is upstairs and he just cleaned up there and was downstairs. All of a sudden he hears running and balls bouncing up there. He goes up and all the balls are scattered all over the gym. He just finished cleaning the locker room and went out into the hallway and he hears the lockers. He goes back in and all the locker doors are open. Well they looked into who is buried in that cemetery and there was a 6 or 7 yr old girl who's mother didn't want her or her brother so she set them on fire in the woods. The girl died but her brother survived. She is buried right across from the front door of the new YMCA. Apparently this was big news back then. There is a preschool there during the year and now there is a summer camp for 3 and 4 yr olds. They think she wants to play. Here is the story. It happened in the 1930"s http://brookhavensouthhaven.org/history/HelenTiernanMurder/HelenTiernanMurderP.pdf

| ![]() jmdt, I tried to read the story but I'm just too dang scared! lol. Maybe in the daylight hours. ![]() Princess & I were playing again last night & she kept turning around towards the hall, ears perked. Both while in the bdrm. & l.r. Over & over. If it was neighbors, etc. she wouldn't hesitate to bark, I need to teach her to write so she can tell me what's going on. ![]() I do want to mention something that I know to be positive. After my Grandpa passed, 14 years ago, my Grandma was beside herself. She took it really hard. She kept telling me that she could feel him stroking her hair as she fell asleep & also she kept a pic by her chair of him. Someone gave her an angel necklace & it was draped over the picture. She always told me he'd move it & flip it over. I didn't really believe her, but I never let on. Her lawyer had to come a few times & she'd told her about it & showed her the picture. Later during the meeting they heard the clinking & looked & the angel was faced the other way. Since they both witnessed it, I have no reason not to believe. ![]()

lol... I think I am going to stop posting via my iphone or my (new.. birthdaypresent) ipad.. I am not a good at typing nor spelling and it just gives me the "willies" to see all my errors. ok.. back to the subject.. I think the "mountain" or "hillbilly" southern culture has a lot of ghost stories. I don't know if it is the Irish background or what. But as I said, my mother could see into the future. She has many dreams that foretold tragedies that came true. One: Right before I went away to college she dreamed I died on a rail road track. In the dream we were living in a 3rd floor apartment and she read in the paper how I died on the tracks. ok.. we take me to college (this was my 3rd year..2nd college so I was a little older). The University had changed my housing... you guessed it... 3rd floor door apt. that had a rail road track running near the back of the property. The track was not in use. So.. about a month after living there my best friends boy friend called me and asked me to come over and cook him a meal (it was not uncommon.. we were all friends) I said "sure, come pick me up" He than asked me to meet him, and take a short cut on the rail road track. I believe to this day, I was to die than. If I had not heard my mom's dream I would have gone and something would have happened and I would have died. So.. life can be changed! want more????

| ![]() I kind of feel like some of us are telling ghost stories here. I have to agree with some of the others. I would be moving. Several years ago I lived in a place where I saw some impossible things happen. I won't go into detail. I saw things levitating and heard things that were not there. No I was not losing my mind. I actually heard and saw these things. While I lived there things also seemed to go badly for me and my family. I was so glad when I was out of there. I would not mess around and wait to see what happens next. I would move as soon as possible. I never saw or heard these things again so I assume it is something that is tied to a particular area. |

Yorkie Yakker | ![]() I like this thread and yes, I believe in the paranormal. I do not, however, think any paranormal investigation based tv shows are credible. Just my opinion.
