Structural engineers are now looking at the building to determine if the present structure can be used or if they will need to rebuild in another location. I've always loved that hospital. I've had family there in the past. There were 5 patients that died that were on venilators.

I was so glad to hear that they are going to build in another location. Freeman and St. John's are so close. I'm so thankful it wasn't both hospitals. We went the other day to donate/volunteer, the path is much longer then 4 miles long. It's crazy. Pray. Pray. Pray!

They finally corrected it from six miles (the National Weather Service) to 13 miles. That is from where it first touched down to where it lifted.

This is so incredibly sad. A close friend of mine has a brother-n-law that lives in Joplin, and thankfully his home and business were spared.
So devastating.
