| I'm over worked. I love my job, but I'm so tired it's not even funny. I'm tired all the time. Any rest I get just never seems to be enough. My schedule is always wonky. 12 days on, one day off, 9 days on 1 day off. 4 on 1 off, 5 on. And so on and so on. A closing shift, and then an opening shift the next day. I'm always asked to stay a half hour longer, an hour longer. I never leave when my shift is over, it's always longer. I get called in on my days off, I'm always asked to switch shifts. They thank me for my hard work and that's awesome, but I need a break! I know I shouldn't be complaining, because there are people who don't have or can't find work and there are far worse things happening in the world right now. I just don't have time for anything, I have no life. I have no time to spend with my family or friends. I have no time to spend with my furbabies. I plan things for my days off, because it's my day off. So thats when I have to do my shopping or go to appointments. I thought I was having a heart attack about two weeks ago, it was a panic attack. I have never experienced a panic attack ever, sure scared me. I'm just so, so tired. Sorry for my bad sentence, paragraph structure and spelling and my rant. I needed to get it out. Thank you. I have talked about it at work, about how tired I am and my crazy schedule changes and everything. They just look at me like, what you complaining about. As I said I like working, I'm happy to work and I love my job, just tired. I think I'm cranky tonight. |

| I know how you feel!!! I can definitely relate. Every one is different as to how much they can handle and as to how much down time you need. I desperately need a haircut, my nails - ugh!!.... just some time to sit and relax - but no - I put myself on the bottom of the totem pole. I know I do it to myself - no one else to blame for that. Maybe someday I'll reach the top. No answers or advice for you - just know that you are not the only one. Hey.maybe we can get together for a spa date - LOL!!!

| I know how you feel! I could work 120 hours per week and I still wouldn't be caught up at work! And that doesn't count taking care of the kid; yard, house, garden . . . .

| You need to be careful working all those shifts, taking on more shift, working extra hours. If you keep doing it for a prolonged period of time your health could really suffer. I agree w the post you need to take a day off or so. I would hate to see you get so run down you get sick. |

| I know how you feel. I started working more and more OT over the past few years, and now they just expect it. If it needs to get done, guess who stays late to do it? My bf used to work here too and he was doing the same thing. He got a new job where they don't expect ANY overtime, and if they do they will ask weeks in advance and you can still say no and it's not a big deal at all. He is so much more relaxed now, even at home, and he can plan his days and weeks and do whatever he wants. It opened my eyes and I will be applying for a new job soon too. Stress makes such an impact on your physical and mental health, and honestly I just don't think it's worth it anymore!
