| iPod touch stopped working???? I had been so hesitant on getting any Apple products mostly because I hate going with fads. I finally gave in and bought myself an iPod touch. Mostly, because I wanted to Facetime with my brothers. Well, I wasn't blown away by the product, but I got hooked on some games, and it came in handy so I didn't return it like I had originally planned. Now, the thing just stopped working all together. I'm so fuming mad because the iPod is so expensive and for it not to even work.... I'm furious!!!! Usually, I'm the one to blame for my electronics not working, especially small electronics. You should see my phone, it's in bad shape. Since this little device was so expensive (in my frugal eyes) I made sure to buy it a protective case, and a screen protector. I swear, I took good care of it. I was using it, and the battery was still good, so it didn't just run out of power. Anyone else had a similar problem?

| Is it still under warranty? I'd contact Apple to see if they will cover it.

I was using it to quickly surf and check in with YT before going to run my errands. I set it down to pick up something else. You know how when it's left idle the screen goes black? Well, I left it alone long enough for the screen to go black and when I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't. None of the buttons are responsive. I plugged it in to my laptop because the apple support website says to plug it in for 10 mins to see if it just needed a charge. It's been 10 mins and the ipod is still unresponsive. My laptop doesn't even detect that it's plugged in.

| Do you remember if the iPod Touch was out of battery when you used it last? You may need to charge (with a wall outlet charger). You can also try to reset it. Here's how to do that: Reset iPod Touch |

| After only three weeks you are still under warranty- but honestly, apple is so good about their customer service, if you went into the store they would help you out even if you weren't under warranty most of the time. Since you are under warranty- you can call them on the phone and they will help you out that way as well.

| Yes, you are definitely under warranty. You can call tech support 1 800 275 2273 and they will gladly help you, or make an appointment at your nearest Apple Store and one of the geniuses will help you. The iTouch is a great product and I'm sure it can easily be solved. BTW, you might do yourself a favor and buy some Apple Care Protection which will cover you after the first year's warranty runs out. Well worth the money!

Well, it's back up and running. It took a few attempts, but I was finally able to reset it. The phone tech support guy said the iPod had a glitch of some sort. I thought it was odd since I had used it like I did any other day, the battery was almost full, and it just stopped working. I hope it was a one time error, or else I'll really regret buying Uris product. Both my broter's have an iPod, my boyfriend has had several (is always upgrading) all of which have worked fine. When I finally jump on h band waggon, mine is he one hat doesn't work.
