It should be. I've only had it for roughly 3 weeks.

I was using it to quickly surf and check in with YT before going to run my errands. I set it down to pick up something else. You know how when it's left idle the screen goes black? Well, I left it alone long enough for the screen to go black and when I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't. None of the buttons are responsive. I plugged it in to my laptop because the apple support website says to plug it in for 10 mins to see if it just needed a charge. It's been 10 mins and the ipod is still unresponsive. My laptop doesn't even detect that it's plugged in.
