Survivor - Redemption Island Anyone watch it tonight? I so loved Tribal Council....I almost fell off the sofa laughing. Going to be a good one! :) |
I am on the west coast, so haven't seen it yet. Love this show. My husband and I met for the first time on the day of the final episode of season one, when Richard Hatch was the first sole survivor. My now husband called me during the first commercial, so I knew he was a fan too. We have been together ever since and just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Valentines Day. We will be watching, as we have not missed a single episode since it began in 2000. Hard to believe it has been on for over 10 years. |
I never watch survivor, but I just happened to have it on in the background this week. I must say that was by far the most entertaining survivor. Wasn't it the first episode of the season? I may actually have to start watching it was pretty outrageous. I do have a question .... why are they all wearing underwear and whatnot no swimsuits allowed this time? |

That guy Phillip is a nut!!:eek: I couldn't believe he was saying he was a Federal agent or something!! He's a hoot and he's already shot himself in the foot!! I can't believe they let Rob back for a 3rd time!! |

I know and Francesca is a lawyer so she's no dumb bunny, she definitely doesn't know how to read people!! I couldn't believe also how Phillip kept pronouncing Francesca's name wrong and how she kept correcting him, it was hilarious!! |

Just seeing this thread.... Looks like this Survivor is going to be a good one - if I can only get used to it being on Wednesday night instead of Thursday. Also, looks like Russell got a new tattoo. Did anyone else notice that? |
I can't believe Kristina told that guy she had the secret immunity idol.:eek: dumb dumb dumb LOL I loved tribal, just about peed my pants laughing so hard.:eyetearss It was the best first show in all there 11 years...and I think redemption island is gonna be very interesting Survivor :D And I can't believe Russell is back...hope he changes his game this time if he wants to win. :rolleyes: |

I hope Russell is around for awhile. :D Philip is so annoying! I was sure he would be first to go. The clothing choices are strange. :eek: Hope bathing suits are handed out soon. One woman arrived on the beach wearing heels! I have only seen a few seasons of Survivor, but this one does look like it is going to be one of the really good ones. Thank you for your post Linda. I would have missed the whole show otherwise. |

He did talk to Philip about the girls being in the majority and I think that was a mistake that may be used against him but maybe the three stooges (Philip, Francesca and Kristina) ruined that ploy. The tribe would be wise to keep him for as long as they can. He would be the first one voted out after the merge so they don't really have to worry about him all that much. I disliked Francesca from the start. She was just too sarcastic for my taste and Kristina is too sneaky. Philip is an idiot and I don't believe a word he says. He's next to go for sure! I LOVE THAT SHOW! That was the most entertaining tribal council I have ever seen! LOL |

I LOVE LOVE Rob.....I hope he gets far. I like that they really really have to think about who they vote off because that person could easily come back!! I also read that Russell may be in BIG trouble because he leaked information about the show before it started. He could get sued for something like $5 million if it's true and it looksl ike it is....some fan said Russell emailed him info. I'm so courious to see how that plays out - Russell gives me the creeps! |
IMO Russell plays the game better than anyone! More than likely he won't win though. |

I actually got drawn to play Survivor on a cruise ship. There were 2 tribes and I was in a tribe of 3 males and 3 females. One of the women and I formed an alliance. We then talked the third woman to vote out her husband, who was also in our tribe. Dumbest move she could have made because once we got rid of the men, we voted her off. I ended up winning out of 12 players. I had to participate for several hours in front of everyone on the ship on 2 of our days at sea. I was hoping to win a cruise. I was really surprised when they gave me a T shirt, a bag and a photo album, all with the cruiseline's name on it. Hardly worth the time, but I did have fun. |
